What Students Say

Likes

Campus is good and vast. Having trees and good garden.
Locality is full of cafes and hostels for accommodation.
Classrooms are nice and lift facility is there too.

Dislikes

Teachers are not permanent and hired on regular basis.
The college is too long like 1km from main road.
One has to walk and there are no rikshaw or anything that goes towards clg.

Course Curriculum Overview

SPPU curriculum is followed and so it is good. 2019 pattern is changed accordingly to the recent trends and composition of old methods and teaching is included too. New methods are added on later part of course.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently fees is around 75000 per year. There is a scholarship for minority students. This can be availed through the government portal. Earlier during my time, fees was 45000. It has been raised now.

My overall experience with campus life at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has been enriching and memorable. Admission

I chose Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) over other colleges due to its excellent academic reputation, experienced faculty, and diverse campus culture. SPPU consistently ranks among the top universities.

Faculty

The colleges earlier was under SPPU and SPPU used to conduct exams but now it has become autonomous. Teachers are not fixed. They are hired on basis of PG like MBA and do not have any knowledge of teaching.

Night Life

The nightlife in and around Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is quite vibrant and diverse, reflecting the dynamic culture of Pune, often called the "Oxford of the East." Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Not to forget our curriculum has overall 6 subjects with a mixture of acvounts maths a bit if strategy planning research paper excel work communication skills stock market aka financial marketing and our subjects change evry semester guven tht we have 6 semesters in our entire degree you can even choose language at the start of the fy though bbm has to pay additional fees of 10k per sem but bba has the language course in built otherwise bba and bbm bith the courses are almost the same

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Compare to other colleges at least for regular BSc this college is slightly higher reputed at present now. Other colleges like the KK wagh is engineering College while others don't have hostel facilities. The city is also more affordable but still standard compared to other education hub like Pune. Hence for regular BSc course even if anyone got delayed admission can be taken first in any other course in the college and then within the department by cancelling the first chosen course.
