Life in GMRIT

I choose ECE because we can go for both software and hardware the college provide many opportunities to the students to enhance their skills in different fields by conducting different events like robo race , stepcone amd etc

The college provides 3 internships one is in 2nd year ending for a month outside the campus and the other is in 3rd year ending for a month it is within the campus named CRT classes for the placement preparation and the last one in the 4th year 2nd sem for a duration of 4 months

The placements are going well in our college approx 50 percent students are already placed in different companies and the count is still going on the largest recruiter of our campus is Infosys they had taken 147 students.

According to the college the people who are eligible for the JVD will not pay any fees to the college except the semister fee of 2000 and other purchase like id,records and other sanitary.the students who are purchased the seat will pay approx 2 lakh rupees for a year.

The college provides many events for every year the main events are annual day and stepcone event. In annual day event the eligible students get 10 thousand scholarship. The eligibility is based on the CGPA and attendance.

Because of the infrastructure and the records of placements in previous years and the faculty qualification in the campus and the ciriculam they follows.I prefer to choose CSE so I have applied several colleges for CSE and also ECE but I got Ece in my college.

The faculty is ready to explain the topics to the students and they are friendly to the students and each semister has approx 6 subjects without the labs each subject as mid 1 and mid 2 and a sem mids are for 40 marks and semister is for 70 marks.

The college provide the gym, canteen and a library inside the campus the gym timings are based on your interest u can go both morning and evening for 1 hour. The canteen timings are the college timings and the library will open at 10 and it will run upto 8pm
