Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum as 3 star because it needs various upgradation by the mumbai university. Subjects like financial management, corporate mergers and acquisitions are the subjects which makes you choose this course. I would deny the fact that the course makes you ready for the real world applications. The exams are of moderate dificult and conducted timely as 2-3 months
Internships Opportunities
There are no proper core internship offered by the college. Mostly the roles are of sales. Broking companies such as Angel One and Aditya Birla Capital come for demat account opening task and some real Estate companies such as macro tech developer and Rustom jee come for sales task.
Placement Experience
The placement are above average of the fees taken. People are eligible to sit for the placement from the third semester onwards. The highest package offered was 12-13 lakhs by federal Bank. Various companies such as ICICI, Axis, IDBI, Nykaa, Reliance Retail, GEP, Aditya Birla Capital, Morning Star, Nomura visit the college. 75 percent students get placed annually comfortably. Roles such as talent acquisition specialist, credit Risk Analyst, Client Acquisition Manager, business development manager, sales officer, financial advisor are offered.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had paid a yearly fee of 1.5-1.75 lakhs. 75% of which is tution fees and the rest is other small different brackets. I had also paid a development fee of 16000 in the first year. Other than this we need to pay 2-3k every semester for exam form. For OBC candidates they are refunded half fees. Thee are various scholarships offered by the state government but the female person whois incharge of the department is very rude and has mean attitude and doesn't care enough.
Campus Life
The campus life is below average but It can be average if you get good decent friends. The biggest fest of the college is Chakravyuh. Over 40 other colleges take part in the fest and various events such as sports fashion show dancing and singing competitions will be there. The college also participates in the WeSchool cricket tournament and we secured runner up position twice in the competition. Also various clubs such as green, cultural, sports, innovation, finance and marketing are run by students on their own.
Admission
I had given only CET exam and as my score came low and only this college was alloted. I had no other choice to select this college. I couldn't apply for other colleges as my score came low and also with less fees this was a decent option. The admission process is very simple as the college accepts cet score and with no interview or GD or written tests. The cutoff for CET should be 97 around percentile
Faculty
There are two faculties for every one subject. So you can say every 60 students has 2 faculties ratio wise. The course structure is pretty old and should be updated with the industry standards. The exams are carried out timely and are moderate dificult. There are exams every 2 months. Some faculties are super intelligent as they are also PhD complete . Almost every year 10 student fail inthe final exam.
Night Life
There's no night life at LALA. The college gates are closed at 6-7 pm. There are no hangout places in the college. Also the cafeteria area is Fully occupied by the juniors everytime. There's no proper gym, no public area. Only the library is superb with containing all the required books. There's no hostel of the college. The locality is very much safe.
