Life in NGF College As an Engineering Student

Curriculum is based on the Jc bose University previously known as YMCA. As NGF is affiliated to JC Bose University. Due the affiliation I got influenced to choose this course. Curriculum prepares us for industry ready person. Theory is very accurate but practicals should need to be improved also with the equipments.

The yearly fees of BTech ( almost all courses ) is around 71500. But divided in semester wise fees payment. For student under SC, ST And BC category can also opt scholarship under Haryana Chattarvarti Yojna. Full scholarship is paid by the government for sc students and half for bc students. Other than this a amount of 3000 is also been paid every semester wise for Centre of Excellence in this extra courses are taught to student like Programming, AutoCad, designing etc.

Campus life is not so good. Campus is very small as compared to any other college of same fees and aspects. But social clubs like litrature club, laventure club etc are present in this college which organises different events in the college. But events are only organised in special days. No fest is organised in this college. During any event, the event hall couldn't even accommodate the students in it. But freshers party and farewell are organised every year. Library is well maintained almost every book related to curriculum is available in the library. Every year sports meet is organised where student can take part in athletics and had a chance to win medals and trophies. Also cricket tournament is held.

This is best to commute on daily basis as it is on road. And the convenience of transportation is also very good. Almost every time their is transport available on this route of college whether student is of from any region. Other colleges doesn't have more course avaibility like this college. Admsision process is also very easy in this college no entrance exam or any other test is required to get admission in this college which make it better than other college. In general I haven't applied in any other college. I directly got admission in this college without roaming in every college.

The faculty to student ratio is different in diferent courses. Such as in Btech computer science a total of 90 students are their which is halfly divided in two different sections a single teacher handles that section but in some course like electrical, mechanical etc where strength is low their is lack of teachers a single teacher taughts the subjects that is not corresponds to it. Total three exams are taken in a semester two are Sessional exams and is main exam of University. If student studies well and have basics clear than the exams are easy.

Nightlife is almost negligible in my college. College is surounded by villages and fields. Nearest city is around 14-15 km so their is no club, mall, theatre etc near the college. But inside the college their is a gym which only be accessed by hostlers.
