Likes
- In IIMTU, faculty is nice and also experienced. It provides a better environment for studies. Students who want to really learn they cam pursue it because it has really a relevant package as compared to other universities.
- As we all know IIMT University is one of the best University in meerut. I can personally suggest you guys who want to complete their UG from meerut then go for IIMT University only. Its a well mannered and disciplined university.
- The infrastructure also nice and recommendable. IIMTU are working ahead to become more better for students in respect of campus amenities and learning facilities.
Dislikes
- I personally addressed that the hostel facility of IIMTU is not good. I can also personally suggest that don't for hostels go for PG’s. Not only for girls but also for boys.
- The mess, hostel room and the most important the hostellers fee structure is too high as compared to day scholars. Im also a day scholar and i am glad that i drop the hostel because the facility is too bad.
- The inner environment of IIMT University not too much good. It is good for studies but average in other curricular activities. If you want to do only study then go for it. Because as a day scholar don’t expect anything in the name of enjoyment.
Course Curriculum Overview
With respect of pros and cons. I may suggest you that the exam not that much difficult that you cant clear them. If you really work hard then you will get a good score. Lets come to the improvements, some teachers needs to more focus on their subject because few teachers just teaching only for salary. Also the exam timings not that nice. The course curriculum is good. IIMT University need to add some practical experience for students.
Internships Opportunities
I have also completed my first internship offered by IIMT University. I have working 5,6 months with TEN and its a great experience for me. University also offering some task and model for further learning. In BCOM you can get the number of internship options like - sales internship, finance internship, HR internship and other.
Placement Experience
In the 5,6 semester students are elligible for campus placement. Many companies came into the university for hiring the students like TCS, WIPRO, IBM,AMAZON etc . And the highest package will be 33.50 LPA for BCOM hons. Students. Also , between 70 to 80% students get placement from IIMT University. After getting the degree i also want to look for the placement opportunities and internship opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Im persuing bcom hons. From IIMTU . IIMT is the only institute in the meerut who is offering hons. At a very relevant fee structure. For this tuition fee will be 38000 per year that is fixed for all. But on the basis of your 12th percentage you will get a very good scholarship at the time of admission. The registration fees will be 2000. Miscellaneous fee also included in your fee structure that will be 3000 and book bank will be of 2000 per year. But overall you can get a very good degree at a fine package.
Campus Life
The campus life is ok. IIMT University has organising number of fests and curricular activities for hostellers not for day scholars. Like Lohri fest , Holi fest , Navratri fest, Dandiya Night, Garba night etc . Lets talk about the book facilities. IIMT has wide library with a wide range of books. The classroom facility has also very nice. There are many sports and extra curricular activities offered by university like- Basketball, cricket, NCC, volleyball etc.
Admission
Before admitting into IIMT University, I also registered in many colleges in meerut because i want to pursue my UG from meerut only. I have applied in vidya institute, MIET , DDUMC , CCS. But in comparison of all IIMTU is one of the best out of them wether in the fee structure and in terms of other facilities. Second thing , I didn't get rejections from any colleges because i have scored 86% in 12th so i didn't face any problem at the time of admission. IIMT University if my personal choice. Lets talk about admission process- First you can go for the counselling session that will be organise by IIMTU itself to understand all the criteria, course details and others. Then you have to registered yourself in 2000 fee . And if you score well in 12th standard you will also get a good scholarship offer and if you have cleared CUET exams and after that you are appearing IIMT for admission then you will also get a added scholarship offer.
Faculty
The overall faculty of IIMT University was nice. But i want to mention a name of my personal favourite- Rashmi mam & Shalini mam. Rashmi mam is one of the face of SCM . She is the brilliant teacher with a excellent teaching pattern and shalini mam not only a good teacher but also a very honest person. Anyone can maintain a good relationship with SCM's faculty. Lets talk about exam lever so if you really studied then only you can pass the exam with good SGPA. Because its not that college- ke college mai pdhai kaha hoti hai. You have to work hard if you want to pass the exam and also save yourself from carryovers.
Night Life
Truly, the night life for IIMTU hostellers is a ground of fun and enjoyment. They will forgot whole day tiredness in the night hangout. The environment in or out the campus is overall safe for both girls and boys. The college will begin from 9:30 am. The perfect hangout places for students is the IIMT ground and cafeteria. The taste of cafeteria is also very good . Everything is so much perfect except warden and mess.
