Course Curriculum Overview
The the course structure, syllabus, practical lineups , hand on training setup and the internship opportunities influenced me to choose this course. The frequency of exams is very well balanced along with the study level.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that offered the internship were kapse paithani, raymond, pantaloons and livspace, they offered a stipend of about 10000 a month. The primary role under the internship was the role of research analyst for future design. The experience was nice and learning was good.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placement after 7th semester. The number of companies visiting for the campus placements ranges between 20 - 25 per year. The higest and average package ranges from 3 lakhs per year to 5 lakhs per year. Every year around 90 percent students gets placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tye yearly fees was 2 lakhs per year for all caste category. Which includes the admission fee and exam fees. Scholarships are Available on the basis of merit for the students who score higer grades in the HSC exam.
Campus Life
Sandip utsav is held every year betwen November and December for the whole campus . It is the biggest Annual function. The accessibility of boos is very good in the library for various ranges. The sports and extracurricular activities are also held and conducted on regular basis.
Admission
This college was very nearest to my residence in my hometown hence i decided to go with the selection of this college for my study also the fees here was the lowest for the whole program. Also the entrance exam was very easy here.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is about 1:20 which is quite good also the staff is very well versed and experienced except for 2- 3 staff along with the dean, the dean is very strict and implies to much restrictions on the students.
Interview Experience
The entrance exam was based on the design syllabus tye topic were focused on the aptitude test for general reasoning and design knowledge. Other half of the test comprises of PI and portfolio evaluation. The process for admission is to appear for entrance test , clear the test and then take the admission by booking a provisional seat.
Night Life
Gym is provided for the hostel students only that too on a pay and use basis. The cafeteria is good where the pay and eat basis is applied the food is provided such as fast foods. They operate during the day time from 8 am to 8 pm. Hostel timing is 7 am to 7pm.
