Reality of IIT( BHU) Varanasi in detailed!

I have interests in chemical so I choose Chemical Enginnering . It is very decent branch and not so hectic. Their placements is very nice. The course they teaches us is very relevant for the companies those they gave placement to us. They teaches us how to do practical which is helpful in our core field. I don't think there is needed any improvements in our course curriculum and Teaching Methods. The timing of exams are very punctual. They gave us sufficient time for the exams on their difficulty level.

In placement of current batch there 87 companies that offered internship to students. Major company like Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Goldman sachs, rubric, VISA, thoughtspots, Axxela , American Express , Bajaj, Nation with Namo and many more. There are total 399 internship offered arrive in the internship. We don't have the knowledge of the project and their outcomes to clarify the tasks because we are the first year students.

After 5th semester we are able to eligible to get internships from in campus company visits. In 7th semester we are eligible to get placement for B tech degree. For dual degree you are eligible for placement in 9th semester. There are many companies that offered placement students big companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Apple, Infosys, Zepto, ICICI Bank, and many other companies. Highest package of our college is 2.20 Crore at present year and the average package of the college is 22 lakhs. There are 1128 students placed in present year. Percentage of students getting placements is about 80%. My plans after getting degree is to go for placement.

I paid 21850 for first semester and paid 6350 for second semester . The tuition fees of me is zero. The tuition fess of general and obc category is 1 Lakhs whose family income is greater than 5 lakhs . For students whose family income is greater than 1 lakhs and lesser than 5 lakhs their tuition fess is 33333.33 . For students whose family income is lesser than 1 lakhs their tuition fess is zero . For category ( SC/ST) students their tuition fees is zero. There is no management quota in my college. Caution fees is 9000 for all students which is refundable. Admission fees is 200. Registration fees is 600. Development fees is 2250. Their is medical fee which is 150 for all students which is for one semester. There are many scholarship in our college like PM Yashasvi scholarship, NSP scholarship, Reliance foundation scholarship, Airtel scholarship, BHU foundation scholarship and more.

There are many fests takes place in our college. The major three fest are spardha which takes place in October, kashiyatra which takes place in January and Technex which place in February. Small events like Jagriti, FMC weekend, Aavaran, General championship, E-summit and many more. There is a wide range of books available in our college . The variety of books are very nice . There we get books of spirituality, competitive exams, novels, biopic, self development and many more. The classrooms of our college is decent. And the facilities is vey nice. The sports facilities in our college is excellent. There 23 sports which are introduced in our college. In our college there are multiple clubs for the interest of every individual in our college.

Our hostel is the newly build in our college. In our hostel there are 10 floors. In Each room there are 3 peoples in our three . They provide us one chair ,one table and one bed for each person and they provide 2 almirah, one fan and two tube-light in one room. The quality of meal is good and their menu changes regularly according to day. We have to submit academic fee and mess fee receipt for registration. Hostel is very affordable for every individual their hostel seat rent is 300 which is quite small.

I didn't applied for any private college for pursuing B.Tech. But I got selected I SSB interview in army. I didn't applied for any colleges because I am very sure about getting admission in IITs so I don't apply in any other colleges. IITs are highly reputated colleges in all over world because their course curriculum, their facilities they provide for students, their professors, their placements and other things. Yes I didn't got my choice branch in top 7 IITs because of not getting good marks in exam for the colleges. To get admission in IITs you have to pass IIT(JEE) Advanced exam. You got admitted in colleges in through JOSSA Counselling. The experience of getting admission in college is very smooth.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:22. The faculty to student relationship is good. We approach faculty by doing mail on their mail I'd for asking any doubt or we can ask doubt after the class. All the faculty members are good I like all of them. All faculties are best on their respective subject. There are two exams in our college is one is mid semester and another is end semester exam in one semester. The difficulty of exams is hard. Mostly all students passes the exam but few of them got fail in exams. The course curriculum is sufficient for future exams.

There are two gyms in our college . One is located in Gymkhana and another in student activity centre. There are main library that name is Srinivasan Deshpande library. There is one cafeteria of our college that name is IIT ( BHU) Cafeteria. There is canteen in every hostel for food for students. There are total 17 hostels in our college. The famous to roam out is to visit ghats, sharnath , Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and many other. You have to take your safety for itself because there are not safe place.
