Course Curriculum Overview

ollege exam conducted in two parts .1 semister and semister . First semister to give 2 ISC this is unit test and objectives question and second part to give a 50 marks return exam. in computer due to teaching a progressive smart india.

Yes college campus give to many cultural activities, festival. First month they gave are fresher party to to welcome a new student. All cultural events to give the college campus. They gave sports festival..many type sport the gave and college to colleg and big prize.

I was admitted in yashvantao chavan institute of science satara is 1 july 2025. My friend said BCS is best college in future.they took best career opportunities in this college. The teaching staff is very good and polite to talk to the students.

College campus and teaching staff is very high quality.to support or our students in a life long daily situation and life or future planning in students.they support are effective in students Life. This very good teaching staff and high quality education.

Night Life

Ycis College in type in 3 types .first a building this is 11 th 12 th student . 2nd buliding is a bsc student.and 3rd building is msc students.all building are library, public area lectural hall canteen, ground in separate two types .games faculty.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

It is one of the oldest and renowned colleges in all of western Maharashtra. During the 90s it was among the top 3 colleges in western Maharashtra. The faculty here are very well versed in the subject they teach. Today around 50% of the faculty here have a experience of above 20 years. The college is also very well placed in terms of location. The main MIDC of the city is located just 2km away from the college,due to which there is ample chance of practical exposure for the students. All the seniors as well as juniors study together,bullying thing is not at all a thing in the college, atmosphere in college is always very energetic no matter what is the weather outside.No one will regret the 4 years they spend at this college....Read More
