Teachers are cooperative , punctual and helpful.
The college is affiliated from Abdul kalam technical university (AKTU) LUCKNOW.
The college infrastructure is quite impressive.

Dislikes

You need to wear college uniform regularly to enter college.
Air conditioners aren't available in classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

the rising scope in computer science led me to choose this course . the curriculum is good and helps me to prepare for the real world problems. i think there isnt any improvement required according to me . exams and there intervals are also ok as they prepare us for the final exams very well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

internships inside college are available but i didnt opted for them i have currently not participated in any interships but internships are availabale in the college campus. its completely your choice to opt for it you can also do internship off campus.

Placement Experience

students can apply for placements from 6th sem . i am not sure about the companies as i have not attented any placements but i had heard of companies like HCL and TCS from seniors. highest package is approx 12 lakhs as i have heard and minimum is 4 lakh . placement rate is 80% . my plans are to grab a good package and work hard for my dreams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees that i pay is approxx 120000,rather than that i pay approx 7500 for examination . there are scholarships available on the basis of jee mains score and rather than that up scholarship can also be availed.

Campus Life

annual fest are organised every year and small fests like movie promotions ,live shows, are also organised rather than this sports week is also organised every year. sports facilities are quite impressive .

Admission

i did not tried for any other colleges .someone in my family suggested me this college and i also believed in their decision and apperitiated it later on when i enquired about the college . admission is done on the basis of marks either of 12 class or jee mains .

Faculty

I am not sure about the student faculty ratio but the faculties are enough and are easily available . faculties are good i dont have any personal problem or relation with anyone . there are 2 sessional exams of 30/50 respectively and one P.U.T of 70 marks and last SEM-END examination of 70 marks.

Night Life

gym cafeterias libraray are good but are only available in daylight . no nightlife is promoted . outside college restaurants and good cafeterias are available where you can enjoy .only if you are not a hosteller.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

My marks were not that good as I could have gotten better colleges and also the money I was being asked to pay in other colleges was much higher therefore I ended up here. See this college is worst if compared to other colleges around it but another hand it's really supportive regarding placement drive and internships. Anyone can take admission in this college and there's no eligibility criteria. You can either take direct admission or come here through aktu counselling. Expectations vs reality of MIET

I got Admission on the basis of 12 marks and interview and there's also the option for jee based admission and state level counseling system.i didn't avail any reservation.
