Course Curriculum Overview
The KLU course curriculum is well structured but needs more industry relevance and practical exposure, it builds a strong foundation but updated content, live projects and interships would improve job readiness . The exams are moderately difficult and the marking scheme is fair . Overall the curriculum is balanced and comprehensive but needs some updates for better career preparation
Internships Opportunities
KLU provides numerous intership opportunities across various domains like IT , engineering, management and research . Some of the companies like TCS , WIPRO , INFOSYS , COGNIZANT and several startups in both technical and business sectors offered great opportunities . Interships typically comes with a stipend ranging from 5000-20000 per month , depending on the company and role . Projects including software development, marketing and data analytics leads to hands on experience
Placement Experience
Placements at KLU start from the 6th semester , with several IT , CORE and MANAGEMENT companies visiting the campus . Companies like MEDIA MINT , TCS , WIPRO , ACCENTURE offers roles is software development and testing. The highest package varies yearly , reaching 10-12 LPA , while the average package is 3-5 LPA . The placement rate is decent and 90 percent of the students secure jobs . My plans after graduation is securing a job and working in a reputed organisation and growing with it
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee at KONERU LAKSHMAIAH UNIVERSITY (KLU) is 18,000 tottaling 72,000 for the complete course , with no significant increase over the years. The fee structure includes tuition fee , lab fees and other compulsory charges . While management quota students pay higher fees , SC/ST students recieve government reimbursement , reducing their expenses . KLU offers sports , merit - cum need and merit based scholarships based on the performance, eligibility ensuring affordable education for diverse students
Campus Life
Campus life at KLU is vibrant , with a mix of academic, cultural , extracurricular activities . The university hosts annual fests like Surabhi and Samyak , bringing lively participation of the students . The library is well stocked with a wide range of books , journals and digital resources , providing easy access to research . Also , the classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and projectors for enhanced learning . Sports facilities include cricket, volley ball , basketball, and many indoor games promoting a healthy student life and various clubs which are run by students include narthana club , swara club , vachas , robotics, coding and entrepreneurship clubs enhances skill development and networking
Admission
I choosed KLU over other colleges due to its affordable fees , infrastructure and academic reputation and i did not apply for any other colleges because from what I've explored and learnt about KLU impressed me and I've decided to join it as it provides smooth admission process and better accessibility . The admission process at KLU is merit based , considering entrance exams , academic performance and cutoffs varying by couse
Faculty
KLU maintains a decent faculty-to- student ratio , ensuring approachable professors who are genuinely supportive . The course structure is well organised but could be more industry focused . The university follows a semester system with internal assessments , mid terms and end semester examinations , most of the exams are moderately difficult but some can be challenging and failure rates are low . The marking scheme is also fair and overall curriculum is effective but needs a bit more updates
Interview Experience
For KLU , the admission process typically consists of an entrance test and sometimes interview and GD also . It purely depends on the course you apply for and the written test focuses on subjects like mathematics , physics, logical reasoning for undergraduate programs
Night Life
The night life at KLU is relatively calm as the campus is located in a quieter area . Most of the campus facilities like gym and cafeteria close by 9-10 pm . while the library typically shuts at 12am . Hostels have strict curfews , generally around 10pm but students can relax in common areas after classes or late night study sessions .
