Course Curriculum Overview

4

I will rate it average as it's good for the academic pursuit and is moderate but there can be some few issues while preparing for placement as there are some non relevant courses and faculties need to be improved for the labs in computer labs we needs more experienced ones

Internships Opportunities

4

Intership scenario id good but one has to make sure he. Gets that through colledge on its own and has to compete with others for that so that we can stand out from the rest there are many projects being done in react and node js library

Placement Experience

4

It's like average in recession period falling between 60-70 percent and average package can be around 7.5 lpa highest being 58 lpa and my plans are also to do a job after degree total offers can me more than 1500

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly free structure is 4 lakh 75 thousand for the b tech in cse and admission fees is like 10000 If the rank at SRM jee exam is less than 500 than scholarship is provided otherwise not and if someone come from management then it would be more

Campus Life

4

Campus Life id good with a good park and very many facilities also many green tress in campus and some of the clubs here are paid but the technical clubs are prominent and ther are many extracirxullar activities in andu festival

Hostel Facilities

4

Facility if good daily they wash and clean the room and the toilets along with the uses of mosquito killing gas but sometimes mess food is not that good and is just the same thing like set dosa and idli everytime

Admission

I applied for thappar and vit and i choose this because of I can't get cs branch in them and this seemed a good option also better tha. Kiit in terms of placements and there was one online exam through which i was accepted cutoff can be around 4-5k for cs branch

Faculty

4

Ratio can be like 1:50 and relation is quite good only due to some language issues there can be sometime a misinterpretation between faculties and students there are 3 class tests for high credit course and a final end semester exam

Night Life

3

Nightlife is just average as we are forced to enter the hostel at 9 pm and can't really hangout out in late night and yeah although its very safe also there is a night canteen and vendning machines in the hostel also gym is very crowded due to. Alarge intake

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
