Remarks

It is a expensive course we need to pay 45k per annum we can also pay by through EMI but for that it is very long procedure. Scholarship are also being provided by college and mysy yojna also provide scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is pretty good course as it is related to computer. In this course we learn how to develop web application and mobile application. This course requires logics to be pretty cleared so that it will be cool to develop some application

Internships Opportunities

No it doesn't provide any internship. We can do internship outside college as part of 6th sem or we can develop our own application to clear 6th sem as internal internship is not being provided in MSU particularly in BCA

Placement Experience

1

They don't call any campus so in that case it is not proper we have to find internship and job by our own they will just give a degree that also after 6 months of passing. Jobs are not being provided

College Events

2

Cyberia is one the good Event celeberated in msu in which there are many things like jumbled coding , web designing games and many other things in terms of technical things. That is on national level outsider can also participate

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a expensive course we need to pay 45k per annum we can also pay by through EMI but for that it is very long procedure. Scholarship are also being provided by college and mysy yojna also provide scholarship

Fees and Financial Aid

They don't call any campus so in that case it is not proper we have to find internship and job by our own they will just give a degree that also after 6 months of passing. Jobs are not being provided

Campus Life

3.5

Labs were good we were having 3 labs in which 2 labs were having 40 computer each lab and 3 lab has laptop's to work on and all the software are already installed in them. Login and credentials are given by college

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel is not that good as expected they have very poor infrastructure and also they dont have proper facilities. If fan is not working than we have to bring electrician ourselves they don't even write complain

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful whenever we had a query they were helpful to solve out our queries. They also planned fresher's party for the Juniors and farewell for the last year students. They were always available for us

Exam Structure

Exams structure is like all colleges. We have 2 semester in a year and mid term exams in each semester which is also known as internal exams and internal exams are also being counted in main semester exam. There are also lab tests every sem

Admission

Via entrance exam they shortlist at particular marks every year depending on maximum score and then they decide minimum marks needed to get admission in BCA. Score varies every year depending on maximum score scored that year

Faculty

3

Maharaja sayajirao University is pretty good as its name suggest but teachers are not that good on their level they will teach only few things and will tell you to do by your own. each BCA batch can have 120 students

Remarks:

Advantages: without these new opportunities, many students would never have realized a college degree was still possible. The advantages include: 1. Reduced Cost The competitiveness for enrolling students in online courses (or to complete degree programs), literally from across the globe, has created a marketplace that enables students to enroll in almost any course provided by dozens of institutions. This competition has driven both the cost to the institution and the price for the student downward due to almost unlimited enrollments. 2. Accessibility Similarly, the online course environment and proliferation of such opportunities enables students to enroll in courses at multiple times during the calendar year and to complete the required work for each course on their own time, that is, around work, family and other personal obligations. Students are also able to complete courses at a single location, usually their own home, a library or some other designated space. The alleviation of time and space restrictions for learning is a tremendous enhancement to this degree completion opportunity. 3. Fulfillment of Dreams Perhaps the most significant of the results associated with these opportunities for many students is the realization they are able to earn a degree, which might have seemed unattainable until now. Many of the barriers to completion are removed from their paths and a college degree is suddenly within reach. Disadvantages: capitalizing on these opportunities may come with some risk. The consumer of any commodity must always acknowledge the “buyer beware” warning label, and this is unfortunately also true with higher education. Some disadvantages (warnings) include: 1. Inflated Expectations (especially for transfer) Sometimes students may become so enthralled with their new opportunities for courses they might make assumptions about how their newly-earned credits will apply to their previous degree program or transfer to the institutions they previously attended. Academic policies at a former institution might allow for limited courses taken at other institutions, have time limits on specific courses or have substantial changes in degree requirements. Clearly, students must confer with the institution from which they intend to earn a degree before enrolling in courses. 2. Coherence of the Degree Program When students take advantage of the multiple and varied opportunities for completing courses that enable them to advance their degree, they often succumb to the simple criterion of availability — if it meets a requirement, it’s okay. This principle might be true, but the relationships of the total curriculum could easily be lost in the disconnectedness of taking courses from many different sources. This is not to say students do not learn from each course, but that the integration of course content may not be obvious when left to the individual students to infer. 3. Vulnerability Unfortunately, there are course and degree “providers” engaged in this new opportunity that are not as ethical, or even legitimate, as most are. Misleading advertising can be very compelling to the eager and unsuspecting student, especially since there has been so much positive press about these expectations and opportunities. However, diploma mills do exist, and the student is responsible to verify a provider’s status. Also, some institutions may mask their lack of specific accreditation(s) in order to attract unsuspecting students. Such accreditations can be especially relevant in professional and licensure programs, and even in traditional liberal arts and science, business, health care and other areas.
