Institution of Science and technology for advanced studies (ISTAR) is known for its facility to provide unique courses. In general people might not know the courses that might exist but is provided here. The curriculum, provide us the basic, conceptual & practical knowledge about the real world applications.

ISRO'S regional centre's with no stipend & a DGPS based company in Dadra & Nagar Haveli side with 10,000 stipend per month was for our batch. & For seniors the stipend varied from no stipend in ISRO to 25000 per month.

For the placement our clg brings different companies & after interviews whoever is eligible get's hired by them. The institution also helps in getting internship from any company or institution like ISRO.

Per semester the fee is 35000. It's same for all four semesters. There is no admission fee. Yes, there is Scholarship for Sc/ST students of Gujarat. No there was no increase of fee payment during this time. & There is a examination fee of 2000 per semester.

There are different club in our college like: NSS, Women's, Sports, Environment. There is student login & password where digitally their overall performance, syllabus, courses & result can be seen. There are Digital boards along with traditional boards for teaching.

35,000, 45,000, 70,000,- normal 90,000 for Ac per year for the girls hostel facility available with food. The meal in the girls hostel is okay. Not extremely good nor extremely bad. For boys 25,000 per year without food.

I have selected this college as I decided I will be doing MSc.Geoinformatics very late till then most of the college already closed their registration. & This college don't take any entrance exams. Even Students of B.A Geography can apply for this course along with student of BSc in any subject.

Faculty to student ratio is good. In our batch there are 8 students & for each subject we have two-3 professor depending on semester. Professors are very willing to teach the students & pay much attention. As a student of MSc. GeoInformatics, I got Dr.Krunal Suthar Sir as HOD & Miss Akangsha Verma Ma'am as Assistant professor for batch 2023-2025. Both are knowledgeable & have experience in their own subjects.

There is library & parking facility for the students available. Although there was no canteen till our 3rd semester but recently canteen is introduced. The university hostel timing for girls is 7 am to 7pm. For boys 6am to 10pm. College timing is 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
