What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure of chandigarh university is very good and deligent I just loved it
Management is also very good and supportive in all aspects you won't face any problems it is sure
Fee is also very good and easily payable and one most important thing you can pay it in installments which is also a good point

Dislikes

Number of students in batches is high sometimes you feel so bored and all around noise
Teachers didn't pay that much attention to students because they don't get that much time
Traffic jams while going to college and many more

Course Curriculum Overview

It was my personal intrest to choose BCA as my career and I feel chandigarh university is best option to do it . Here the teachers are quite well that I can achieve my dream. Exams are also held on proper time and quite decently

Campus Life

Every festival is celebrated on its own time depending upon if management wants to celebrate it. Sports facilities are also well you can join any game you can go to gym you can play any soport. Cu also uses technology to provide a student good environment in class also

Admission

I also applied for LPU but I didn't have that kind of budget so I choose CU as it was in my budget and also I had listened very much about this.No I don't get any rejection infact they were also interested but I don't want to go there

Faculty

Student to teacher ratio is good ...I like most of the teachers because they are quite skillful and very nice but someone's are egoistic they don't listen students. The exams are semester wise and are quite difficult you can learn from these

Night Life

There are many gym centres around college you can easily get them .And also many cafes and restaurants where you can go in your free time ..some famous parks are there in which my favourite is water park ????

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

A journey

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
