Kautilya college - "Best college for civil engineering"

No the college is good overall for the students who wants to go for civil stream but not good for other branches. The teachers are okay , the HOD's are really helpful and have great knowledge. But they have no canteen in college which is bad.

Only civil stream is good in this college, rest of the branches are not at all good of this college. They have only few teachers who teach more than one subject. So I don't recommend admission in branches other than civil.

No, this college don't provide internship. We have to find the company for internship from ourselves. And they also don't give leaves for doing the internship which I don't like at all. They should give the student leaves for internship.

It is not at all good. All the companies that came are not at all related to our stream. The companies that came in our college offer maximum CTC Of 2 lakh per annum. The training and placement cell is not their.

One fest happens every year named enilaze which is a four day event that contains technical , land gaming , singing and dancing type events that ends with a gala night. Other than this some seminars happens annually and republic day celebration takes place.

They take 35000 for one semester as tuition fees other than this they charge 3000 extra as extra curriculum fees which don't happen at all in college. They charge money for everything in college for I card , for wearing casuals , for using phones etc.

The college suggests some banks tied with them to the students to take the educational loan. They give scholarship to minor groups and scheduled groups. Other than this the top 10 students don't have to pay tuition fees.

The labs are well maintained and are all in working condition. The lab assistant has no knowledge about the instruments only the HOD have they come explain the practical to students and goes. I don't know why they have lab assistant. No sports happen in the college only happens during college fest. They don't even have the sports equipment.

Hostel infrastructure I will rate 5 out of 10 because what they charge is very high as compared to what they provide. The food is okay. The WiFi range is very poor of the hostel. The boys and girls hostel have separate building.

Seniors were really helpful , they made us comfortable in the college during first year. No ragging happened with us in the college. Some seniors help us in the course completion and also helped us with lab experiments.

They conduct 2 mid term exam in one semester and the general class test happens after completion of a unit. Some surprise open book test also happens some time. They conduct fake practical exam and give marks according to their mood and not according to child's ability.

I got admission in this college by REAP Process. In Rajasthan Engineering admission process we can get admission through our 12th class marks or from our jee main score. So I got this college because my jee marks were 80.

Faculty are good. They have old and experienced person's as their faculty. All the HOD Of the college are PhD holders and have very much practical experience. But the lab assistant are not at all good.
