Likes

Campus Life is really good and students from different cultures and cities come here to study.
There are lot of cultural and sports events organised regularly.
The girls to boys ratio is not equal but there is a large number of girls.

Dislikes

Faculty practice favouritism with students.
Hostel mess food is not good enough for the price.
Toilets are not cleaned on a regular basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is just like any other private engineering college like VIT and PES. It's not up to industry standards and most of the subjects are not needed in the industry. Real time projects and industry training is not given importance.

Internships Opportunities

There's not much internship opportunities provided by the college. If we need internship we need to search them on our own. We were very disappointed in this regard and expected help from the college side.

Fees and Financial Aid

?300000 per year is the fees structure. ?1200000 is the total fees for the course. Scholarship is given for JEE toppers. scholarship is also given to students who top the SRMJEE entrance exam. Transportation fees is extra.

Campus Life

There's lot of cultural events and activities organised regularly in the campus across the year. Milan is an annual premier event of SRM which is a cultural Event which happens across 4-5 days. Students from across India come here to participate.

Admission

I applied to many colleges in Chennai and Bangalore. I choose SRM because the campus life is good and fees was a bit lesser than other colleges. The campus and sports facilities are really good in the ktr campus.

Faculty

Faculty members practice favouritism with certain students and are very partial. They are approachable for doubts and clarifications bases on their mood. They use native language whenever they are comfortable.

Night Life

The campus is safe to roam around in the night. The library is open 24/7. It's not safe to go out of the campus in the night as it is a very shady area filled with local thugs. There's not much hangout spots outside campus.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
