Review of Stewart Science College.

If you want to stay in Cuttack, then this college is at par with Ravenshaw. It helps you to grow all around as a person.It builds leadership qualities if you are interested in club and other activities. And in academics, most of the students are good. And it is one of the finest colleges of odisha.

This college is a science college. So basically +2 science and Bsc science courses are available. Bsc is a three year course. Every one is allowed an honours in bsc degree. No pass/major are entertained.

No. They do not provide any internships. However, if you are interested in internships you can go out and get into projects, which you need to find of your own. They will allow you and help you with that.

Currently no placements. This college basically has 11th and 12th afflicted to utkal university. It also provides graduation degree in all science and biological science subjects. Most of the students go for higher education after that.

Annual function occurs once in a year. Seminars are held frequently. Number of career counsillengs are also being done here. Christmas eve is celebrated before 2 to 3 days before. Farewell and freshers are done.

It is feasible. It is quite inexpensive. They take around 15-18k for admission. After admission you need to pay 1k fees in every 3 months. You need to pay the readmission fees in every semestar which is around 4k. That's it. But computer science is a self financing course where you need to pay a bit more. Or else it is quite feasible.

No loans and scholarships are available in our college. e-medhabruti and prerna scholarships are available to the students which are the permanent residence of odisha. No scholarships are available in the college. Scholarships are granted by the university.

Particularly in this college, the club's are active. And active members participate in it. Labs are good. All the labs have enough instruments to carry on the practicals in a well mannered way. There is a playground and students play the sports. Both indoor and outdoor games are active. Gym and cafeteria is also there.

Hostel facilities are available only for girls. Hostels are quite good. Price is feasible. For boys' no hostel facilities are available. But there are a lot of hostels which are nearer to the college. You can access that easily.

Many of the students are pursuing there Msc in the Ravenshaw college. 5-6 have cracked IIT JAM entrance. Others go for government job. Some take upsc coaching in Delhi. Many of them are working as professors in reputed colleges.

Stewart Science College is afflicted to Utkal university. It has six semestars and six internals. Two semestars in each year and two internals per year. Odd semestars are held in the month of or December or January and even semestar are held in the month of april- may before the vacations.

This college takes students purely in the basis of merit, without any interview. So the first cutoff goes up to 85 percent or more. The cutoff is generally higher for geology honours and physics honours students. 2nd cutoff goes up to 81 and 3rd up to 75. The cutoff varies every year. Generally maths and computer science honours goes down up to 60%

Facilities are just amazing. They are highly qualified. Most of them hold an phD degree. They will never disappoint you in anyway. Geology, Physics and Chemistry facilities are the best of this college. Don't know about Maths. But I have heard that there are amazing faculties in biological science too.
