Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is pretty simple and straightforward. During the entire journey of your studies, you learn about drugs and usage of them in pharmaceutical industry. Also in the final year, there will be internship of few months where you will get experienced in clinical practice. I have no complaint against the course structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admitted to Nizam Institute of Pharmacy which was affiliated to JNTUH Hyderabad in the year 2013 through counselling after clearing the entrance. I was approved for scholarship for entire course and yearly fees was 40,000. Some of the colleagues didn't cleared entrance and they paid the entire fees by their own.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus experience was positive. We see new faces and get an opportunity to mingle with others. Learning new things from campus life and implementing those learnings in professional lives has a unique experience. I got familiar with advance technologies during our practicals and labs and that really helped me in my professional career as a pharmacist. Fashion competition was conducted within girls to raise social grooming which is essential I believe when you walk out for a job.

Admission

My profile got shortlisted for two colleges. The reason I selected Nizam college because it was recommended by our relatives, who studies from this college and well settled. Secondly, my parents were much impressed with counselling given before joining. The admission process is simple. You need to clear entrance and must get a good rank for obtaining seat.

Faculty

4

Faculties in our college were highly experienced. It was a huge campus with different blocks so it's hard to predict the ratio. Mr. Zubair was Incharge of pharmacy college during 2013 and was responsible for A block. The thing which I like about him is puntuality. There were two semesters in each year. Altogether there were 12 exams per year.

Night Life

5

There was huge cafeteria in our pharmacy block where all kind of healthy breakfast and lunch items were provided at friendly cost. The cooks were professional and were much focused on the ingredients through which they were making. There is a big library at second floor where there was access to all books and other resources.
