Course Curriculum Overview
Specific aspects of the curriculum is that i find Civil Engineering interesting. In our college each practical is performed by the student in the supervision of lab assistant and lab faculty. They should more use smart boards in class rooms. Exams are held after every 4th month of semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that me and my batchmates pay is 55000 (per semester) for my course (B.Tech. in Civil Engineering) and it increases (not for us) for the new admissions. Tuition fees is approx 47000 and there is a development fees which is approx 8000. There is exam fees also which you have to pay before the exam dates which around 2000 (not included in the fees). Fees is same for all the students irrespective of their categories, however there is an arrangement of scholarship for the students of SC, ST and OBC-NCL from 1st year till final year of the course if you fall into the criteria of scholarship. Name of the scholarship is MPTAAS and i don't know the scholarship amount but it must be approx 30000 and plus minus as per category and course.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest called MOONSTONE which is held on quite large scale in the university itself and in this fest, there are so many activities like weight lifting, sports, singing, dancing, etc. Also sometime celebrities are invited for the fest. University has a very large library where you can get all the kinds of books related to your course. There are some clubs in which you can participate like NSS, E-CELL, AWS and MAASA (sports club). Good amount of activities are held in the campus. But also you have to take care of your attendence by yourself only. Students are often go to the industrial visits according to their respective course.
Admission
I have applied to SATI, Vidisha for B.tech. Civil engineering but i choose Medi-Caps as i like the infrastructure amd campus of this University. Admission process is quite easy as there are two modes of admission, one is online and the other is offline. You just have to submit the copy of your documents like aadhar card, marksheet of 10th amd 12th and the Original Tranfer Certificate (T.C.) amd pay the fees.
Faculty
Faculties are no doubt approachable and are very good to communicate also they help you academically as well as non academically. I think all the faculties are good in their respective place. Some of the faculty are not as good as others as they are very very strict and sometimes they don't teach relatable. Course curriculum is Good. There is 2 Mid semester exam called MST and 1 final examination call End semester exam and they are of moderate level like if focus in the class lecture and littile self study, you can pass the exam easily.
Night Life
There is gym in the university which includes some basic equipments and also there is a sports room where you get some equipments like badminton, football etc. Some canteens are also there for students and for the faculties also. University is situated on the highway where traffic jams are so common at the peak time otherwise the locality is okay not very good not very bad, but at night you are not allowed to go out of the college even after 10 pm you can't leave your hostel building. There are so many greenary in college, so many trees are planted by the university. Students can chill and spend time seating in the cafeteria and also on the stares before the library and there is an idol of Maa Saraswati and there is a fountain around her, and the sound of that fountain gives a soothing expirience.
