Dislikes
- Lazy Management, most of the times the management delays the simple things unneccesarily.
- Some Teachers Behaviours, some teachers have unnecessarily rude behaviour and its off putting
- Timings and Some Rules, its a thing which can be either good or bad , the rules for some are too strict and for some are too lenient.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is good overall but some parts of the course is outdated, maybe a small part but still outdated, The curriculum doesnt really prepare us for real world apllications, for that we must delve further into the subject ourselves, The frequency of exams is once per 20 days to one month , The university claims the semester to be of 6 months , but is generally concluded in 3-4 months, each year has 2 semester so overall 8 semester.
Internships Opportunities
The college provided us with a training with AICTE and Qmansys Nasscom,They were quite informational and proved to be useful in real life apllications, Also they provided us with PDP classes to build personality and confidence.
Placement Experience
The college is providing the campus placements, various companies perform their recruitment drives , the details about the job profile are shared by the CRC to us via emails, and according to our need we can apply in them, and sit in the recruitment drives in college, also they have a very good management. Although the companies this time around are not picking students enough, so the placement rate is very low right now, but may increase via the end of session.
Fees and Financial Aid
RKGIT is a very good college, and i can say this from personal experience as i am currently studying here. The college offers a wide range of courses, including specialisations such as B.Pharma, B.Tech with specialisations in IOT, AIML, Data Science,etc. They also offer all the basic branches of engineering like electrical, mechanical, civil, electronics and more. The college is well equipped with necessary amenities for all available courses, and the infrastructure is in good condition, keeping up to date with market standards. Here is the Fee structure for B.Tech and B.Pharma:- For 1-3rd yr :- Rs 111500 per year (with a fee waiver of Rs 7250) For 4th year:- Rs 110500 per year ( with a fee waiver of Rs 6250) The Hostel fees are:- Single room-Rs 87000 Double room- Rs79000 Triple room- Rs 77000 Single AC room- Rs 104000 Double AC room- Rs 94000 One time refundable security deposit:- Rs 5000 The fees can be paid via cheque,demand draft, NEFT , RTGS, or online transactions Overall, I would say that RKGIT is a great collge with a lot of opportunities for students, a well rounded academic curriculum, and good facilities. I'm having a positive experience here, and i believe its a great choice for anyone conisdering higher education.
Campus Life
My Overall life in college was amazing both academically and extracurricullarly as the college supported us in a lot of state and national level events to participate and even win some of them , they encourage students to participate as much as they can as such things build character and personality and intoduces us to the real world, The college provides various industrial trips to multiple companies. So if i have to do it all over again, i would do it all the same.
Admission
I applied to this college because it comes in top 3 college in NCR, for engineering, also cause of accessibility due to it being nearby and on main road., Admission process is fairly easy. You simply have to provide necessary documents to the college , fill their form,and select the stream you want, and you are alloted a seat according to availability and after the seat confirmation, the payment is made and classes are alloted
Faculty
The Faculty to student ratio is quite good as each batch will have their own set of teachers, which is quite a good thing. the teacher student relationship is very good almost friend like relationship it is, there are 3 exams before the main university exam first exam is ST-1of 50 marks which conists of first 2 units of each subject , then its ST-2 of 50 marks which consists of 3rd and 4th units of each subject, then we have a PUT or pre university test of 100 marks which consists of full syllabus, its to prepare us for Final exams, they are quite easy.
Night Life
The nightlife is quite good in campus the hostels allow students to enter and exit their hostels anytime the want without restrictions, But they cannot leave the campus area after 8-9 pm, but the delivery system is still available so we can go to the gate anytime and collect our package. College also has a canteen running till 2am, Also the nearby area is also quite okay not open till late but the market near by 2-3 km is open 24*7 so no problem with that.
