Course Curriculum Overview

4

The basic knowledge of the fields are very specifically explained in courses and the explanation of faculty also helps us get a better understanding, the study material should be provided such as books or guides that can be used to study for the subjects and to gain knowledge. University holds 2 exams per semester, 1 is sessional exams and the other is end semester exams, neither are difficult if you listen in class and understand the topics

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for my course i.e. BBA.LLB. is ?65, 800. All the charges are included in this amount and no hidden charges are there. Registration fees is ?200 for the admission form you can get from reception of the university, ?2000 is the amount for registration of candidate for examination, no other charges are there. I have a scholarship for 15% of the total fees for my course, scholarships are given to all the students who have passed the 12th blard examination based on their percentage, scholarship is available on different percentages starting from 5% for above 60% in boards

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good, facilities like sports are available all the time, event for cricket of our university Maharishi Premier League takes place about 2 times a year, law festivals which consists of moot court competition, drafting competition etc. Facilities in class room such as smart classes are available, the rooms are air conditioned and any damaged or destroyed or not working thing is replaced immediately after reporting it. Library is very big and a lot of study material such as journals and books are available to everyone all the time and any special book which is needed by anyone can be asked for to their respective teachers and they will arrange the book in library.

Admission

I had prepared for competitive exam but unfortunately i had not achieved the mark for getting into those colleges and also it was due to my negligence that i could not get other government colleges, overall the college is good the faculty is friendly. The admission process for this university is easy you have to get an admission form and fill out the details and the administration department will reach out to you and guide you through every step

Faculty

5

Faculty is great, very easy to approach and always there to help, not so strict and always open to suggestions from students, always makes sure all the issues the students face are resolved quickly and ask for further suggestions is any field requires improvement

Night Life

3

An open gym is in the college campus, a very big cafeteria is also their which is air conditioned, for Hostelers mess is available, overall campus is very big, night life im not sure about as i am not in hostel but the surrounding areas are safe as a lot of residential property is there and a nearby small town, college opens at 9am and closes at 5pm for classes otherwise the library is open till further time and the sports grounds are well lit for hostelers or for other students to use them at any time

Pre placements starts from 4th year and post placements too happens as those who remain to get any placements are also assisted. Law jobs are anyways less so percentage of students getting jobs is also quite less as batch size is also 100+.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Placements currently as I am in my final year and couldn't find placements through the firm's which came here for placements. Therefore I had to find it on my own just like half of our batch has to as less than half were placed. LLM is also going on in my mind but that is only if I am able to get in top colleges or will continue to serve as a lawyer.
