Course Curriculum Overview

4

The main aspect of this course is it's a master course of the subject.I was influenced to join this course as I can easily understand the topics because those are the elaborations of the respective which I studied in my previous degree. It makes me completely ready to get a good job in multiple fields as per the facility I have to work. The course can be improved by adding more practical work.Teaching methods can be improved by using more online techniques. Exams were too frequent as per the difficult curriculum.More time for preparation should be given so as to perform well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete fee structure of the year was 32,700. Tuition fee was Rs.32000 and Registration fee was Rs.500 admission fee Rs.500 Lab fees was Rs.300 Fees for my batchmates under SC ST categories was Rs.28000 with a scholarship facility Scholarship aid is available for students with good entrance results.

Campus Life

4

The annual festivals include a visit to ICMR.It is a very good experience for the students to attain knowledge and also mingle with the students from other colleges. The range of books and journals are limited in the library. Technological provisions and facilities in the classroom are average. Good extra curricular activity programmes are provided in the college including a chance to perform on a local TV channel. No student-run portals are provided.

Admission

I applied to St.Ann's PG college for women and Islamia College along with Jahnavi for my course.I got admission invitation from all the colleges but I chose this because it has direct and easy city bus facility comparing to others. I did not get any rejection from other colleges. Admission process of my college is students must have cleared pgcet entrance provided with scholarship facility. If not applied for the entrance then must get a management seat without scholarship facility. Students mainly prefer entrance based admission as they get scholarship and also the hostel facility in the nearby areas.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio can be given is 3:5 Faculty to student relations had been completely professional as lecturers did not get free to any student irrelevant of the respective work. I liked Bhavna ma'am and Rukmini Mam because they were very fair and cleared my doubts. I did not liked Shanti Madam as she was aggressive. Exams were semester wise internal external and practicals. Internals were easy but practicals and external were hard. 30 percent of the students failed to pass the exams.Course curriculum is truly a knowledgeable.

Night Life

3

There is a general library near to college with evening timings which is truly a great help. Many safe hostels are there for girl students separately. Cafeterias are also available for students to get a good food item and snacks. These things makes college life interesting and easier. Some famous hangout places includes Pista House, Mirosa cafe and kitchen, The Cave a hidden cafe etc. College area is completely safe to get outside during night time because of the market present nearby.

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
