Overlook of TIT(EX) from a local student's eye

The curriculum of the course is set by the University under which the college is affiliated. The University is RGPV. The syllabus and curriculum is quite nice and good, although it is hectic for students to attend soo many classes each 6 times a week but that is what college rules are and this should be reduced, 5 working days of college students should be implemented. The curriculum is quite old but it is ok.

Yes there are internship opportunity in college provided by the companies Only one company is certainly providing this opportunity named CAPGEMINI since I am not a part of this program so I don't have much of details

The placement cell of my college is quite strong and well organized. There are many companies approaching my college for providing placement opportunities to students such as TCS, hexaware, accenture, wipro, etc. The average package students achive are of 3-4 LPA and these packages improve according to students capability. Majority of the students gets placed in companies almost 70% My plan is to crack an on-campus placement

The yearly fees is divided into 2 for 2 semesters and there is also miscellaneous fees is each semester which keeps on increasing. Any damages caused to college property is also taken fine of. There various fines and fees which many of the students find irrelevant but there is nothing they can do about it and had to pay the fine.

There are not any properly organized club culture in my college except for the cultural committee. No such fun environment in the college to enjoy college campus life therefore the overall campus life is dull and boring almost zero. Yes the libraries are good and have a wide variety of books. The sports facilities are very very poor and sports faculties are rude and do not support players

My parents didn't want me to go out of station to pursue my studies. There are 2-3 good private colleges in my city as I couldn't scored good in JEE to opt for any government college. My first option for addmission was LNCT. And second one was either oriental or TIT. After the DTE counselling I was allotted TIT excellence for addmission.

The faculty to student ratio is poor as there are many students and less faculties. The faculties are good, some are friendly and supportive while some are very rude and abusive. Arjun sir ,monica ma'am and rajesh sir some of the best faculties. There 2 mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam in each semester followed by the practicals

The nightlife inside college is that even a thing? We are restricted in the college campus after 6 pm. The hotspots to hangout after college are the hathaikheda dam right infront of the college which has some nice tea stalls Indrapuri is another option as there are a lot of cafes and restaurants and majority of the college student population lives in indrapuri of all colleges Shah-pura lake and the upper Lake are some great places too but quite far from the students residential areas. There no particular place to roam around at night.
