Likes
- Almost 70 percent of the faculty are iit and not gradutes who teach concepts well and doesn't make us feel bored.Thd professors are approachable and stay overtime to solve doubts if required
- Students can participate in various clubs like Filmmaking,photography, editing and journalism.The coordinators encourage and support us for every competition
- No ragging and hefty fines are levied if any student indulged in such activities.
Dislikes
- No proper peer to peer interaction(Boys and girls sit seperately)
- Strict decorandum if the class is maintained even for boring classes -Design thinking and innivation
- Very small playground and campus is always overcrowded as only 1 block is present
Course Curriculum Overview
All the courses are thought by industry experienced persons and subject is completely relevant and up to the mark.But there is some improvement needed in ECE course subjects as the theory taught is not understandable.They conduct presentations sometimes to make us interact with others.Total of 3 exams are conducted per semester within 1.5 month duration.Total semester duration -1.5 month
Internships Opportunities
Cisco, Microsoft Infotech are some of the companies which offered internships to students last year.It is recommended to do atleast 3 projects in the domain targeted.The roles offered ate mostly testing and call centre jobs and few grap sde and date science engineer tole
Placement Experience
The college promises 100 percent placements forall eligible students.Approx 60 companies visited us last year but only 57 students outof 1200 students got hired.Less than10 percent of the study got hired.The placements are not too good but average.I plan to pursue mye h in Csefrom s reputed college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The regular college fees is 290000 per annum.But students whose intermediate (state board) percentage is above 90 percent get a scholarship of 15000 per annum whereas above 95 percent student get a scholarship of 30000 per annum.Aditioanlly top rankers of Ts/Ap EAMCET students can avail scholarship of upto 50 percent per annum.Other fees include exam fee which needs to paid at the end of semester- 250 rupees per subject.No management quota/ SC/ST reservation .
Campus Life
The overall campus lifeisnt that good.This college is only for them who are determined to study hard.As the campus is small there are no proper sports facility but clubs run very well.Thr labs are equipped with latest technology
Admission
I choose this college as its infrastructure and faculty is top notch compared to other local colleges.I have also applied for CBIT and VNR but got rejected due to average marks scored in entrance exam.Our college considers addmission through jee mains, EAMCET and Intermediate percentage.Ijoined through intermediate percentage getting a scholarship of rs 15000
Faculty
The student to faculty ratio is 1:65.Faculry will solve each and every doubt student raises.There are nang good faculty in college particularly coding faculty clear fundamentals and explain complex problems.One of the professor who teaches well and motivates students is Ram Anirudh who explains us giving real world applications and discuss various techniques to debug code faster.However I don't M.Seshadri from physics department who is always annoying and really likes to irritate students.
Night Life
NO nightlife.The campus operates from 8AM to 4 PM onlyfor dayscholars and hostlers.The locality is not that safe to walk alone at night and it isn't recommended.For hostlers with prior permission students can stay upto 6PM
