Course Curriculum Overview

3

First of all i chose this course because i wanted to become an CSE not because of course curriculum It does not prepare for real world applications, the gap between Interview questions that are asked and what is taught in GTU course is simillar to Day and night, You have to perpare from outside for getting a decent job. Mostly everything needs to be updated and teaching i can't say since there aren't teachers in my college that are good The frequency of exams is okay-ish, But the gaps between ongoing exam subjects need to be even;y distributed.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are some companies that we have to invite for internships.. with no to very less stipend There are no project encouragement given in college, only Design Engineering projects which are necessary part of GTu Curriculum

Placement Experience

2

After 7th sem students are eligible for placements Local companies like Adani and other private offices have appeared here for placements. not much package offered and not many positions offered Highest might be 4-5 LPA CTC in this college though i doubt it's oncampus placement 9+CGPA My plans are to pursue masters somewhere else

Fees and Financial Aid

For each semester the fees is 30,000 INR only, For direct admission in BE from class 12th.. it might increase in upcoming years.. The D2D students have to pay around 33,000 INR only... The fee for each year costs 60,000/Year

Campus Life

3

College used to Host Annual functions named GOONJ, but now it's excitement is getting weaker every year. For cultutural fest The Ganesh chaturthi and Navratri one day is held which is decent, but it could be better. Technological facilities are non-existent in the college classrooms Sports is actually decent since there's another complete part of college that is dedicated to sports which is pretty active. not very inclusive of other students but it's okay, extracurricular are sometimes held but it's mostly with school kids so no one participates, there are some seminars held but that also aren't too great No student clubs, student portals, or great student life, take admission in this college and you will face the reality and will get your dreams of diverse college life broken the moment you step a foot in the college campus, You'll mostly find arrogant town assholes students in the college but there are good gems too..

Admission

I chose this college over Veeraytan, because that college is even worse. I was eligible but i'd rather suffer a bit less I applied for college outside kutch but colleges got filled to fast and i was a bit far in acceptance list if it was even there to begin with, i barely passed the eligibility criteria due to Covid and family issues. so i had only these to colleges in kutch as my last resort. I mostly went through PCM marks criteria in 12th and GUJCET marks, i got accepted admission process is not tough in this college since no one willingly chooses this shithole over good colleges outside kutch

Faculty

1

Faculties that were good are no longer in college because of growing toxic culture, There are literally no teachers to teach for entire semesters.. yes semesters.. So students have to give Mid semester exams without any input of teaching from college, and they have to give final exams with no one teaching them the subjects of particular semester. it's all self prep and it's stressful. There are more street dogs in college campus than there are good faculties GTU course is pretty relevant but it needs updation. Some faculties everyone liked were Mehul bar sir for maths, Vishal sir ex VP for Mechanical engineering, Kelvin sir for electrical engineering, Urmi ma'am for Computer engineering, Sanket sir for general teaching and TPO, most of them are gone from college due to toxic work culture I cannot write the list of faculties i didn't like since all of them are dogshit and i can't be fucked to point out each and every one of them

Night Life

1

Gym is locked away like some world conquering demon is stored in there.. and no faculty for it too. Cafeteria is decent and clean mostly but food is not great.. price for it is sensible considering the food quality, Library is also decent but the librarian is toxic with rules stricter than army Hostel is mostly used for NCC events in which other students stay in.. No hangout places inside and outside the college, night life is as real as santa. You aren't safe there at any hour of the day since there are many cargo trucks going in and out on the road very fast and recklessly to Adani port and some other construction sites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed by the university as it is equipped with all the latest changes to the IT field and make sure that there students get proper overview and deep knowledge of enchancememt and growth taking place all over the world. The University new approach is focused more on the practical knowledge than the theoritical knowledge to help students understand how things work not just to learn it from the textbooks. The class timings are also designed while considering students to give them proper time and space to work on extra curriculars or any project too.

Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness. My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.
