SRM institute of science and technology katangalatur is overall a nice place for persuing higher education. They could improve on the faculty selection because not everyone who has knowledge can teach properly.

The course curriculum is actually brilliant. They constantly updated during new regulations. The prescribed books are usually informative and helpful in gaining knowledge essential for professional work.

My college doesn't provide internships, but they connect us with people who do. The stipend provide at these internships are fair and they give us fair amount of work. The work times are flexible so is the work place.

Placement and job opportunities are pretty good. SRM has a high percent placement every year. Thus getting a job isn't that hard. SRM has a placement structure which provides almost any student a job based on his credit scores.

There is a huge list of events celebrated in SRM every year. But the major two are millan and aarush. Millan in a cultural fest and aarush is a technical fest. Both happens for a duration of one week each.

The tuition fee is 350000, and hostel fee is 110000.fee should be payed in one settlement at the beginning of each year.This is a subjective question and it depends upon the financial status of the family.

There are alot of scholarships offered by the college. Based on cast,the region they are from, extracurricular credentials, and a lot more. The loan can be obtained for any bank inside the campus they offer a wide variety of loan structures as suitable for the student.

Best labs, great opportunities for extracurricular activities, they conducted a lot of workshops which are very useful. The college has huge ground for cricket, basketball, football, and a separate building dedicated to sports.

Hostel infrastructure sucks in some blocks. And are passable in some. Depends upon the block fee. And the hostel faculties are understanding and helpful in all possible ways. And the mess food is passable too.

The college helps get student in touch with the alumni and the seniors are helpful in many ways. They help us choose the right facilities and courses so that we can gain more knowledge and experience.

There are 3 class test, a suprise test, an assignment, and the finals. Everything gets considered while calculating the sgpa. Each CT's are conducted for 20 marks and finals for 100, CT1's mark is converted for 10 CT2's mark is converted for 15 CT3's for 15. ST is considered for 5 and assignment for 5, and the finals for 50 totally 100 for each subject every semester.

I wrote the entrance exam of the college, which is SRMEEE. And was called on for the counseling according to my ranking on the performed entrance exam. They compared the test scores and 12th mark and offered the courses available for me. And I selected CSE.

The only problem with the college are their facilities. Some teach with passion and are knowledgeable, but most are just post graduates working as a teaching faculty. This is they only way the college can handle the workload due to the large number of students.
