Bishop Appasamy College review

I have pursued BSc in computer science from this college. BSc(Computer science) is 3 years full-time degree course. The course provided by the college is affiliated by Bharathiar University and curriculum includes subjects like Programming Languages(C, C++, JAVA,VB.NET, VC++, PHP, etc,), Networking, Computer System Architecture, Data Structures and Algorithms, Microprocessor, Software Engineering, PC Software, S/W Project Management, S/W Testing, Graphics and Multimedia, RDBM.

College provides placement to the deserving students. The college has a training and placement cell that provides the necessary training to students which helps in the placement and every year 40 to 50 percent of students get placed.

Bharathiar University inter-collegiate football tournament, NSS Day, Exhibition by Fine Arts clubs, Chapel Service And Choir, quiz competition, singing competition, drawing and painting competitions and many more events are also organized.

Scholarships from the state and central government, freeship/scholarship from the institution fund, scholarship from private bodies, these are the few scholarship programs run by the college where a student can avail the scholarship by applying.

College campus is located at a place which is well connected from all the major location in nearby. The college has almost all the facilities like a well-equipped lab for every department, big and spacious library equipped with the thousand of books, clubs present in the college are helpful for the extracurricular development of the students.

Admission in this college for any course is based on the merit list only which is published by the college in the month of July, to get in that merit list, one can apply by filling the form obtained from the admission counter of the college and I did the same, I applied in the month of June and I got admission in the first merit list.

DCA, MSc(Computers), MCA, MPhil, Ph.D. are the qualifications which are most of the faculties having. Faculties of the college are well experienced and they have experience of both the teaching and the corporates so they share both the experience with their students.
