There's no particular entrance exam. One need to have a good score in their board exams and must have a good knowledge about the course they opt for.

The college has a well structured academics. This college is under periyar university and follows the credit based system. Apart from the main stream you'll get to study a course from another department course for one semester and this helps the students to get along with the students of other departments

Talking about placements SKASC promises you with good placements. Majority of us got placed in various companies. Since I was from biotech department we too had placements releated to this course. If one has a good score. When he/she completes the course he/she will have an offer letter in the hand

Our college encourages with various technical symposium and cultural events. Students are made to participate in any of the events. National conferences areheld in various departments and many students from various colleges come and participate. More festivals like Pongal,Diwali,Friendship day celebrations also conducted by the college

Talking about gender ratios, both boys and girls are given equal preferences and are encouraged to participate in various activities. Sports are given equal importance in our college , they're given intend training for various competitions. There are no partially for certain caste, creed or religion. All are treated the same

College life is most enjoyed when one stay at hostel. The boys hostel is within the campus and the girls hostel is near vlb college which is metres apart. Hostel buses are there for accessibility at girls hostel. The food here is excellent and the only thing is they avoid oily snacks in the evening.

Seniors in this college are very friendly and very helpful. They helping in many ways like Workshop programs and interview matters

There are 6 semesters in total. Each semester has two internals one models and then the final exam. Apart from that, there maybe few class tests to assess and improve the knowledge about the subject. Lab exams too follow the same but it varies with departments

I got admission by filling application form. They gave me admission staightly. They didn't even compared my marks with others. While admission fees of odd semester should be paid. Admission was handled only by staffs of the college. There is no limited classes for some departments. They will split the classes

The faculties are all well experienced and they're so devoted in what they do. They are ready to help any students who find difficulty in any aspects. The faculties of my department were very friendly. Faculties make sure that each student gets a "hands-on" experience especially in computer labs
