College Life Decoded: A Close Look at Pragati Engineering College

As I was very much interested in the technology side, I opted for Information technology. That helped me to improve my coding skills, reasoning, and aptitude. By gaining this it became easy for me to crack a job in the campus interview. And the semester exams conducted in the college will help us to have a idea on the real world scenarios.

The college will provide you with vast number of internship opportunities both virtual and also in-person like Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow certificied system administrator, AWS certified cloud practitioner, Blue prism virtual internship, Cyber security virtual internship and many more.

The campus placements in our college are quite more than other colleges in our district. From third year itself the student will be eligible for campus placements. There are many MNC companies that visited our campus like HP, Flipkart,Tech Mahindra, TCS, Accenture, Intellipat, HCL Tech etc. Mostly 70% students got placed through this placements. The highest package was 40lpa from Adobe. After getting a degree I was placed in the job immediately.

When I was studying the annual fee was 63000 and 20000 for crt training. If your EAMCET rank was below 25k they treat you as merit student and the college management will give you a concession of 10000. If you are the resident of Andhra Pradesh then the government will pay the college fee for the student if he eligible for their criteria.

The overall experience of the college life is an exciting journey that shapes individuals in many ways. For many students, it marks the transition from childhood to adulthood. There are many clubs in my college that includes toastmasters club, robotics club, iot club, gaming club, NCC, photography club etc which enhances the students to participate and make his skills get used in it.

I have applied to many colleges like Aditya, Vishnu but I came to know that this college have more placements opportunities than that college. So I decided to join in this college. Our college admission process is based on AP counselling in which there will be 3 counsellings basing on previous year cutoffs you can opt for the course in which you are interested.

The faculty will guide you properly through the entire semester that will help you to gain good marks in the semester as well as mid examinations. For every semester you will be having two mids and one internal and external exams then you will have sem exams. Your sem papers will go out for correction.

Yeah, I have attended many group discussion during my college, which helped me in my interview rounds. There were many topics like women empowerment, pros and cons of chatgpt, technology, and many more. Our college provides us a soft skills class in which they will prepare us for this interview rounds. This helped me to crack the rounds in interview.

As I am a dayscholar I don't have an idea of how the night life will be in my college, but the college has security even during nights. The campus timings are from 9am to 4pm. The famous hangout places in our college is canteen and in ground. The college also having the central library which contains several books.
