SREC in short.

The regulation that is followed on campus is regulstion ehich was reversed in 2020 and is aligned to the anna university syllabus as the final degree will be provided bybanna university only so the student intake to curriculum is very much aligned to the anna university curriculum.

The college has a oppyrtunity for students to complete all their papers in the third year and dedicate their final year for internships and projects and gain industry relevant skills by doing internships there are paid as well as unpaid internships in college which is of help to many students for placements.

The olacements in srec is pretty much good even in this recession time compared to other colleges in the surroundings the placements in srec is good and yhere are good no. Of companies entering the campus for placements. So it depends on the individual to utilise it.

The college fees varies from vranch to branch the fees for management and counselling admission students are different and first graduate students have a scolarship and sc students have separate scolarshipnint the college . 7.5%reservation students do not have any fees in the college.

There are many clubs in the college campus for cultural sports reading etc. There are 2 main events which is swagatham exclusively for first years and elatio for 2nd and 3rd years. In 1st year joining a club is mandatory and from 2 nd year its upto you.

The hostel is nearly 30 year old so have low expectaions before entering hostel the food is pretty decent and can be adjusted if not no worries swigfy and zomato is always available. The fees for 3 sharing and 4 sharing rooms vary but nearly its a lakh including all the mess and accomodation etc.

I also tried for other colleges in cbe surrounding like psg but couldnt get it due to high management fee but srec is charging comparatively lower than the tier1 cilkege in CBE. The admission process ofbour college is simple and anyone can approach the frontdest for further queries.

The faculty in srec are very supportive and they hel us in all our academic related queries We will definitely need their guidance throughout our 4 year period. There are 2 internal exams before the end semester exams which covers 50% portion each and semester has the ehole syllabus for exam.

There is no nightlife in and around srec. cafeteria is available within the campus and there is not so many hangout spots in the college but the stone bench in college is the best place to chill for all the stidents in college.
