Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course in this college are no doubt good and faculty is also good. They use real world applications while teaching due to which concepts are cleared easily. The college needs to improve in some areas like cultural events, sports.

Placement Experience

3

The students are eligible from semester 6 for the campus placements. Infosys, Nestle, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Nasscom, and many more companies visit. The average package is Rs 300000. 60 Percent of students get the placements I'll do the job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Is the fee Rs 84000 The fee is the same every year. There is no change in fee every year The Library fee is Rs 500 The tuition fee is Rs 30000. The cultural fee is Rs 100 The placements in college are average. The faculty in the college is good.

Campus Life

4

The annual festival is named SYMPHONY, which usually occurs in the month of February-March. Hackathon is conducted in this college every year during February and March. The sports events occur during February and March. There are clubs in every department; for example, there is the EISA committee of the E&TC department.

Admission

I applied for many colleges and i got admission in one of them but I didn't needed the course I got in that college so I chose this college, as this college is of Shivaji University and I have heard lot of Good things about this college. I got admission through spot round in this college.

Faculty

4

The Faculty of this college are friendly. Some faculty members are good and they have knowledge of what they are teaching whereas some of them don't even know what they are teaching.they just borrow notebooks from senior year students and start teaching from it that is they just copy and paste it on board. The college conducts Mid Sem exams, Practical Exams, Semester Exams, and Class Tests. End Semester Exams consists of 100 mks which are later converted into 70 mks and remaining 30 mks are of Mid Sem, Assignments. On average, 20 percent of students fail to clear the exams. Sorry, but I can't give the names of the Faculty.

Night Life

5

The Gym is available in the University, and its closing time is around 7-8 pm. The hostel gates close at 9 pm. The famous hangout place outside college is Rankala Lake. The campus timing is from 9-4 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
