I liked the curriculum I'm chandigarh university which is different from other colleges
Good campus and vast area with many facilities for better education
Vast grounds and good infrastructure and many more facilities

Dislikes

If u are late to take admission u won't get any hostel
No ID card no entry into the college premises
Huge number students in the college and very tough competition

Course Curriculum Overview

Best from any college . Easy to understand and very fast going . Maybe a bit fast for slow learners but can adapt easily and catch up with the curriculum. Need to be focused in to both syllabus and self development

Many companies will come to hire students by giving a good amount of offers and good package or stipends. The students need to be aware the he or she must not have any backlogs and need to active to get placement or intership.

Placement on campus are very in the college,, you will be provided with a great deal of on campus placements. Which offer you a very good package for the freshers . Even though the competition is high many offers will be given to the students

Fees and Financial Aid

We will be paying atmost of 2,50,000 rupees a year and it will differ based on the scholarship we avail. If we score a 50% of scholarship we will only pay half of the fee and to maintain this scholarship we need to maintain a CGPA of above 7 5.

Campus Life

There will be many events conducting in the college .Most of them are free of cost and every month we will be having atleast 1 or 2 events going at big level and small events will be conducted very oftenly

Admission

Because of the fee and best course curriculum I choose this college. They were also providing me with a scholarship opportunity which made me take admission in this college and the vast infrastructure attracted me too

Faculty are good and the curriculum is easy to understand and coming to the exams you will have 3 per semester MID 1 , MID 2 AND FINALS . Exams are conducted with a break of 1 month each and will get enough time for preperation

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

A genuine review of LPU university specially for agriculture students

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in placements after 7th semester , there's interview based skill classes from 1st semester , for agriculture students companies like itc agro , dhanuka , corteva visit for in campus placements . Average package for agri students is 5-6 lakhs , nearly 75-80% students get placement offers . I'm planning to do buisness after my graduation or takeover my family buisness .

Placement Experience:

At LPU, students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture and many others visit the campus. In 2025, more than 2,200 companies came and offered 6,000+ jobs. The highest package touched ?3 crore (international) and around ?62 LPA (domestic). For CSE, the average is around ?7–8 LPA, and the top 25% students bag an average of ?10 LPA+. MBA students had up to 95% placements, with the highest at ?29 LPA and average around ?8 LPA. Most students get placed if they are consistent. My plan after degree is to grab a good placement, keep building my skills in tech, and later explore higher studies or startups depending on where life takes me.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
