Course Curriculum Overview

5

curriculum was developed according to current needs and trends and updated yearly. they help in preparing the most practical and talented youth for future. teaching methods are good they even provide training for Cambridge English. exam timing was in morning and night shift majorly conducted during April to june . exams are easy to moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships are mostly completed at government institutes and hospitals, psychological centers, etc, malwa mental health organization provides free internship. there is no stipend given during the internship

Placement Experience

5

some companies come for campus placement but most students prefer to prepare for government exams. 20 percent of students get placement, after completing the degree I want to prepare for the UPSC examination so I can become a civil servant and get a permanent well-paid job and respect in society.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year-wise, fees were 1428, and exam fees were 1000. This includes all types of fees and charges. Fees for our batchmates are also the same, and they also depend on category and scholarship. the student who opt for medhavi scholarship are exempted from fees and other scholarships like central sector scholarship, st sc scholarship, awas bhatta, gaav ki beti scholarship, pratibha kiran scholarship etc are also provided to eligible students. Central sector scholarship is for meritorious students who have 85 percent or above marks in their 12th board, and 10000rs yearly scholarship amount is provided by central government. Gaav ki beti scholarship is for the girls who come from rural areas and they have to fill the form and take approval from tehsildar to apply for the scholarship, 5000rs per month scholarship is provided in this scheme.

Campus Life

5

all festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Gandhi Jayanti are celebrated here. the library is so big and has all kinds of books all writers' books, research books, newspapers, etc. Extracurricular activities are the main charm of college

Admission

I applied for BHU, AU , DU and also selected for all colleges but all colleges were out of mp so I choose this college over others because it is cheap and good. admission process is registration and merit based according to each level of round. Admission process is little hectic but easy compared to other colleges.

Faculty

5

The faculty-to-student ratio was 30 students per teacher. The student-faculty relationship is also best. The teachers are always ready to help the students and available to them at all times. Dr Jyoti Taneja Ma'am was my favourite teacher I like them most because she is very calm and taught us life lessons that still work for me. I like all faculties here. There are yearly exams, assignments, CCE and internship, and practical exams conducted for the needs of the course

Night Life

5

the cafeteria is not so big but a small canteen which is always full of students, the library is also good, the gym is always closed, Davv University and Shiv Mandir are nearby places to visit. Night out like facility not available.

At DAV studnets get placed but our department provides research and teaching opportunities and therefore placements are nil to some. Overall though DAV has great placements record and that is why students thrive to take admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was really great and definitely helped me choose the course. Each topic helped me learn across the curriculum and gave me a detailed insight of the things I was unaware. It helped learn a lot about English literature and it's different concepts in a deeper sense. I would suggest that some concepts which can be simplified in learning can be modified accordingly.
