Course Curriculum Overview
B.com course provides a good balance of theory and practical knowledge and good foundation in subject like Accounting, business law , economics and management. In terms of real world application , the course does a good job , especially with accounting and business law. One area for improvement is teaching method , the lectures are informative but mostly theoretical .

The reason I choose this college because SRM is a brand in education and it has NAC++ rating. placement opportunities are here with better packages. The other reason for choosing this college is due to short distance from my home to the college. Eligibility to join this college is you need to score minimum 60% in 12th board exams . I applied for dg vaishnav but i didn't get seat there because I didn't match the eligibility criteria.
Faculty
At SRMIST Vadapalani, the faculty-to-student ratio is quite good, students can get personal attention when needed. Most professors are approachable and willing to help students. The course structure for B.Com General covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, and Management. Each semester contains of 4 exams - 2 CT exam , 1 model exam and finally semester exam . The exam are actually quite easy , only very few students fail in exams
Night Life
The nightlife at SRMIST Vadapalani is pretty calm, with a focus on academics and relaxation after a long day of classes.The cafeteria closes around 8:30 PM, and the library is open until 9:00 PM for those who want to study late.
