Course Curriculum Overview

3

I will rate the course curriculum average because if I am a Computer Science student then why would I beed to study the subjects like Civing Engineering Basics, Basic Electrical engineering and other subjects like of other branches and Why would I appear examinations for these subjects? This things disappointed me very much, but you have to read this only in the 1st year of the course. But in the part of real-world applications this college have very good eyes on these things. And here you have to attend every class of 1 hours and very good to understand.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college providing us very good opportunities for the students and they are also very very useful for the students at the time of the placement sittings. And I have done 3 projecta in coding languages in HTML and C++ which has been helped by the professor's also. And these projects relally helped me in the time of placement time.

Placement Experience

4

Truly speaking we are available for the internships after 4th semester and we are eligible for the placements after 6th semester. Very popular companies also visits to the universities also like TCS NINJA, L&T etc. The highest package of the college is approximate about 50 LPA and the average package is about 15 LPA. And the percentage of students successfully placed is about 90-95%.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a Student of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology in the Branch of Cimputer Science and Engineering and this college has a very good fee structure than other colleges bexause ut takes course fees of 31,040 annually and only 48,000 for the hostel and mess charge both. It sums up upto 1,24,160 rupees and 1,92,000 rupees of hostel fees in 4 years course. And this University also avails for the SC and ST quotas and as a farmer's family I have got 60,000 of scholarship every year. My friends also given the same price for the course structure fess and they have got the 20k to 30k rupees every year as a scholarship.

Campus Life

4

There held so much festivals like Spring Fests, and Tech fests, and the annual sports fest etc. And they are typically held in the month of spring, Summer and winter respectively. There available a vast amount of the books and the journals in this college's library. And the facilities and the Technological provisions within the classrooms are really very very good and very improved. And they also provides so much emphasize towards the sports and extracurricular activities are offered in this college.

Hostel Facilities

4

In the 1st year of this college you are hiven 3 students room hostel allocation but after these you have will get 4 students hoatel for living. And the life style in hostel is very good but the infrastructure of the hostel is not so good and the meals menu is good but the quantity and the quality needs so much improvement and they provide the Chicken Mutton Fish etc. The registration process of the hostel is very simple because it has already been done in the time of admission process.

Admission

I have applied for College of Technology, Bhubaneswar also and I have also selevted for this college but I have got the branch which I does not needed so I have selected this college over this. And after these things this college os far better than the College Of Technology, Bhubaneswar That's why I have choosen this over CET. This College's admission process is very good and it accepts the B.Tech Students through JEE MAINS exam.

Faculty

5

The faculty student ratio is very good they provide very good professors for each classes in every sections uniquely and the exam systems and the matking Schemes are very good. As in every technical college or Universities there are 2 exams per semester and each semester carries 100 marks. And the marking scheme also very good mid semester carries 30 marks and the end semester carries 50 marks and the rest 20 marks get by the attendance and the your performance in laboratories.

Night Life

5

Trully telling the night life of the college is very very good and the gym, cafeteria, library and the public area for night out. But you have to come to your hostel campus before 10 PM because for the safety of the students they have ordered this type of rule.

The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
