Course Curriculum Overview
Practical skill knowledge and one to one patient doctor relationship inspired me to join the course. The couse involve clinical postings in which students interact with patients in real life which boosts their interest in the field. More focus real life skill development should be provided in order the align with the intent of the course.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers compulsory internship of 1 year after the last year of course . In fact it does not offer in campus placements. However students once completed with internship can apply for job in hospitals and clinics to work as medical officer or junior doctor . Stipend offered is about 7000 per month during the internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fee of the course is 1185133 with the hostel fee of 150000 per year. Miscellaneous charges are 85000 at the time of admission. Security money of 300000 at the time of admission which will be refunded in the last year. College donot have scholarships program. But one can opt for government scholarships through different schemes.
Campus Life
The college offers vast campus which is beatiful and is spread over 250 acres of land . It has 2 big play grounds with special pitch for cricket and football. Different clubs are also organised by the students intented to regulate different activities in the college. It has library with all the books required for the course in the medical college itself.
Hostel Facilities
Students are offered triple and single sharing rooms in the hostel depending upon their buying capacity. Each room has a bed, alimrah and study table for each student . It also has attached washroom and toilet. Food quality of mess is acceptable but not always. Students can go out to eat whatever the want .
Admission
This college offers good academic experience and teaching as compared to other colleges located nearby. Even though the fee is almost the same but it offers more relevant information regarding clinical skills required in the field. I preffered it over the other college allotted to me in counselling beacuse of these reasons. Anyone who has qualified the NEET UG exam can apply for the seat but minimum cut of about 350 .
Faculty
Faculty of the college is much experienced and talented in making the students understand the topics . Average experience of teachers is about 10-25 years. The teachers actually try to teach the topics wisely compared to low academic standards of neraby colleges.
Night Life
There are night timmings of 8:30 pm to enter into the college . Students can hangout at nearby places like meera's , romeo restaurant and mars resort in the campus itself. Because of it students can chill with friends at different outlets of famous brands like domino's and haldiram. Students are allowed to go home from Saturday-sunday at nearby places like delhi .
