Reality of My college

My current course is Data science. This course has most of the aspects cleared for to be industry ready but somewhat there are few things to be changed like the tools used nowadays so that the students gets industry ready and do not face problems. Exams are held more often so can be improved a little bit.

Internship certification program just happened this December. It was good opportunity for students to learn industry work. Projects are the mini projects held every same which makes students learn new things.

Students are eligible for placement from last year. Few renowned companies come here for placements and average salary is nearly 2.5 LPA. The highest package is nearly 5-6 LPA. My plans after degree are to join a course for Data scientist and get placed from there.

The yearly fees varies every year of the course. As I belong to OBC my fees is nearly 40000 every year and open category students have nearly 90000 and the remaining students have fees below 30000. This fees are after the scholarship is approved if not then full fees has to be paid. Scholarship for students is on mahadbt through it they can apply.

The events held here are Prasang and Megalio which are held in January and February. Also sports are held in January. The library consists of books which are good and in wide range. The classrooms as Projectors. And also there are clubs in the college in whichs students participate.

The reason I chose this college was as it was near my town and my parents wanted me to not go far for the college. I was willing to take admission in Atharva college of Engineering in Mumbai as it is better than St john college of engineering palghar in many aspects like events, placements, etc. The admission process is not difficult the college faculty guides for it. The exams required for admission are MHT CET and JEE Mains.

The faculty are well qualified. Most of the faculties have a good relationship with the students. Currently Julie Tarade and Aishwarya Churi are the best faculty for me which helps me and are always friendly with the students. Exams held in colleges are 2 unit test and 1 semester exam per semester. The exams are strict and are little bit difficult.

There is restriction in the college at night only for events management it allows students to stay. The college does not have gym facility and cafeteria is fine. The college closed nearly till 6 pm. No hangout places here.
