The best GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN ODISHA AT AUTONOMOUS LEVEL

The college has promised to come with an auditorium from last 3 years but we haven't got one.Again the university status is much awaited despite its 25 years of tenure.Also the college being autonomous from 2017 ,is performing best in all spheres.

As far as BTech is considered it is not so dynamic as it involves the same internal,class quizes and end sem examination.The BPUT syllabus is followed on broader sense like all other colleges of Odisha under BPUT Rourkela

There is ample placement opportunity in COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY being at the capital city of odisha i.e BHUBANESWAR. Though most of the placements are in it & csc branches but there is absolute quality placement possible in Mechanical branch as leading recruiters like MSIL,TATA POWER,VEDANTA,TECH MAHINDRA,ADITYA BIRLA,INDIAN NAVY regularly visit college from last 7 years!!

Our college conducts techfest at branch level ,engineers cup,xtasy-the cultural fest of cet is held every year. Besides seminars, workshops,panel discussion are held. Again there is a sound induction programme for freshers just before their 1st semester.

Yes , absolutely the government has set the fees, lowest of all price costing ?32,000/- per year which includes academic,library,bus etc.Not leaving the hostel fees that amounts to ?32000/- per year along with food & stay.There is no any fees to be paid through the entire year.

The college rewards with CET MERIT SCHOLARSHIP to the top 10% of every branch on the basis of their cgpa. There is also NMS scholarship for poor but meritorious student. The college fees can be paid through education loan facility through the syndicate bank in college.

The college holds branch technical fest, freshers with great pomp & show. The 'engineers cup', sports fest of college is unparallel of its type. The college has technical clubs as SAE,ZAIRZA,E-CELL; literature clubs like CETADEL,AMUZA.They are dynamic in nature.

There are 2 boys & 2 girls hostel inside the college premises.There are well maintained 2 & 3 bedded rooms.The food is upto the mark in all the hostel mess.There is no compromise in hostel sanitation as well.

The CET ALUMNI are present all over the nation & at international level too. There are extremely thankful to cet for the placements they received. Also the seniors suggestion to join the college in view of academic excellence is absolutely truth.

I had appeared jee main after 12th.One has to apply his/her choice in ojee.nic.in by providing their academic details as well as score in jee main.On the basis of merit list prepared by ojee one gets selected in the college.Usually the cutoff for this college is high among all colleges
