Course Curriculum Overview

3

I dont like thia course because i thought that it will be different but this has more theory part than practical. I dont have problem with my college but have problem with the teaching methods... m1 and m2 are difficult subjects. I suggest that syllabus should be reduce and unwanted part should be removed

Internships Opportunities

5

I dont know about it yet. Cause i am a first year student. But from senior students i came to know that college provide many internship opportunities to students and hackathons also takes place in our college.

Placement Experience

5

I dont have much information about it because i am in first year. But seniors have good placements in companies like wipro for 4lac per year. Our college offer decent package. Some companies also offer us to continue further studies while doing job and they pay for our educational expenses

Fees and Financial Aid

This year I was paying total fees 93126?. Tution fees- 81414? Development Fees- 9362? Other fees- 2350? Total Fees- 93126? I come in general Category so i was not able to avail any kind of scholarship or financial benefits.

Campus Life

5

sports tournament, green club, sports teams in sports like football, cricket, kabbadi, kho-kho ,basketball ,volleyball, etc. Exists in my college .events like annual gathering are also there. Garba nights are also there.

Admission

I applied for gpp pune but i cant get that so i decided to go in pcp college. Because this college is also a reputed college. For admission process ssc board / cbsc board/10th marks are considered though DTE website

Faculty

4

For 30 students one faculty is assigned. And it is decent and faculties are so supportive. They have good experience in teaching . But some faculties are not that good. For one semester two unit test are taken and then final sem exam/practical according to subject. I like deepti sahare miss they teach us fundamentals of ict

Night Life

4

Gym is present for college hostel students .cafeteria is good but college mess food is not good. I dont love it.campus timing are til 8pm.college have tight security so it is safe for hostel students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good. In order to get a good package you must have a good cgpa around 7-8. If you have a good cgpa. You can get a good job offer with a annual pay for 5-6 lakhs. I plan to do btech/be after diploma. That,ll help me get a good placement. I can do btech here only if i manage to get enough percentage in my final year. If i couldn't i plan to get admission in keystone school of engineering which is a good college for engineering degree. Mostly infotech and proazure hire the most. There are other companies too. Around 60 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rating of course curriculum of my college (PCP) the scale :- 1-5 | 5 = Excellent. • Relevance - 3.5/5(industry aligned but need modernization). • Comprehensiveness - 3/5(Cover basics but lacks interdisciplinary depth) Key aspects influencing course :- 1). Technical foundation - core engineering discipline(mechanical, civil, computer, etc)with a focus on fundamental skill. 2). Practical training - labs, workshop and internship linked to local industries. 3). Affordability and accessibility - polytechnic program at PCP are cost- effective and provide early entry into technical careers. My college has a robust foundation for technical education but requires strategic update to stay competitive.

Placement Experience:

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the heart of a student’s college or advanced learning experience. Curriculum is a college or university’s primary means of guiding students directions. Curricula should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis, better to serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculties are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high quality, fair outcomes for everyone.
