Likes

I like the teacher way of teaching is extremely advanced level we have to know basics and the teaching level is good .
The management is organising every semester fest and campus immersion is also there so it's good for our side .
The most important thing is that they are assuring placement and that is the good thing from our side that in placement cell we are sitting.

Dislikes

The mees food which we are eaten that i don't like because they are sometimes not even well cooked and many other things related to mess.
There should be separate who are eating veg and who are eating non veg food but in that mess all are in same so it is really disappointing.
The assignment which should be on time there is no such have seen in these course there should be strictness .

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is far so good because I want to study computer science and I have got an opportunity to study one of the IIT it's good . There should be improvement as we have in many fields such as regular assignment in week extra doubt classes for doubts and teachers should not use Mobile phone during classes. The timing is enough for the exam.

Class Size: 900Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

These course is online distance learning started by IIT Patna which I m pursuing in computer science and Data analytics from 2023 since and per semester fees for these course is ?40000 . But now there is increased in fees as known . Yearly I pay ?80000 for these course . There is no other fees registration fees etc... only we have to secures 60 % above in 12 and jee mains qualification that's it . No scholarship is available for these distance learning program.

Campus Life

The fest is like spandan , vista , etc... cultural fest are there there is variety of books held in library and journals available all facilities are available which one student required there is court of basketball ????, football, cricket, badminton ???? etc... no student runs social group as far I know .

Admission

I m also studying in gecr and no colleges had rejected admission I want to study in these also because but obviously it's IIT Patna. The admission process is nothing we have to just pass class 12 above 60% and qualification of jee mains only no advance then also it's possible.

Faculty

The faculty is good but they are ofcourse teach at high level so we should well prepared basics and the structure of the course is for 6 months and after that semester exams are held online as well as ofline MCQ types in exams and after that 15-20 days gap for the upcoming semester.

Night Life

The gym is not there in campus cafe is there library is big vast and there is lot of variety of books and the campus timing is big same as the gate opens 6:00 am and closed around 10:00 pm . The area farmhouse inside is big and it's totally safe I can't say because I have not rested there .

Compared to other courses chemistry stands in middle to both theortical and practical. For any government exams graduation degree is compulsory and chemistry gives both exam oppportunities and direct job also.

There is no Placements data of B.Sc (computer science and data analytics) course because there are new course lunch by IIT Patna in 2023. No, batch has passed out yet and first batch passed out in 2026. My plans after a getting the degree to go higher studies.

IIT Patna Through An Honest Insider's Perspective

Basically i gave JEE and according to my JEE Advanced rank of 2023 i was getting EE/ECE in some og the Mother IITs but i didn't want to pursue electrical engineering so took CSE in IITP.
