Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum has various good things that are required for the real world, as an accounting student certain laws and rules are really useful for all the works in the real world setting and there are certain topics which are not that relevant to the working world

Placement Experience

3

The college provides good placement opportunities from various good company and organizations including the big 4s. The students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. The percentage of placements is pretty average for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

While joining the college I paid ?44000 as semester fees, and the college study involves an average payment of ?65000 a year, which includes admission fees, tution fees, management fees and development fees. The college does provide various scholarship opportunities for various castes, especially to the candidates who need the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The college has one of the oldest cultural events in India called the deepwoods which is conducted for 3 whole days. The event has pro shows for each day, DJ shows or music shows or EDM nights etc. During my first year actor Kamalhasan was the chief guest of the event. There are various groups like NSS, NCC and scrub society who are the social groups in our college. In 2024 the MRF innovation park was inaugurated which would be useful for the students for showcase their business ideas and such opportunities which would help the student's growth.

Admission

The main reason I opted for this college is because of the ambience of the college and the college culturals and a few recommendations from my seniors. The admission process was pretty simple but the site was slow and old.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good like, some of the teachers are not bias at all....but there are few teachers who are bias to students from other states. I haven't felt any bias situations in the marking system.

Interview Experience

3

No, there wasn't any exams or tests or group discussions I just had to apply in the website and had various segments in the admission process, like around 3-4 sections of information which has to be filled for the admission to be successful.

Night Life

3

There are hostel inside the college campus known as "halls" 3 for boys and 3 for girls, and there are several hostel and rooms and PGs are available right outside the college in the locality called Anandhapuram. There are many cafeterias, gym, groceries store and departmental stores outside the college which the students can utilise for their needs. The most famous hangout place is the Deats Cafe in anandhapuram. The locality is not that safe to roam around during the night time as there are locals present in the area.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
