Course Curriculum Overview

5

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the course curriculum was very much satisfactory. As a matter of fact, its true everything can not be covered in Curriculum, so Faculties and student organization organises some Industry Expert Talks, Lectures, Workshops for the development of students.

Internships Opportunities

5

Companies from nearby region come on campus to offer 2nd and 3rd year students internship across divers domains, enabling opportunities for students to have industry exerience at the best level. Also students are made aware about the platforms from which they can bag internship opportunities on their own, subject to paid or unpaid.

Placement Experience

5

College offers extensive Campus Placements training program, called as Campus Credentials Training. A 6 months long training program being offered to students for getting industry ready, polishing there Soft and Hard Skills. As the region is tier 3 city and quite a far from metro cities like Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc. Comming on campus is a difficult point for companies, but with Institutes Highly active placement cell, their co-ordination and support makes it easier for companies to manage and conduct placement assessments smoothly, and hire fine and smart Engineers for the better future of their company.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 4 years course my fees was 95000 /- per Year. 1st Year (2020-21): Fees = 95000/- ; Fees Paid = 50446 /- ; OBC Scholarship(MahaDBT) = 44554 /- 2nd Year (2021-22): Fees = 95000/- ; Fees Paid = 50446 /- ; OBC Scholarship(MahaDBT = 44554 /- 3rd Year (2022-23): Fees = 95000/- ; Fees Paid = 50446 /- ; OBC Scholarship(MahaDBT) = 44554 /- 4th Year (2023-24): Fees = 95000/- ; Fees Paid = 50446/- ; OBC Scholarship(MahaDBT) = 44554 /- For SC/ST/NT/TFWS categories : Fees tobe paid was around 7500 - 9500 /- ; Remaining will be covered in MahaDBT Scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Overall it was the best experience I had, I was the part of ACES (Association of Computer Engineering Students) as Event Manager for 9 months, SVKMIOT ACM Student Chapter (Dept. of Computer Engineering) as Secretary 15 months, Also I was the Student Representative of Institutes Internal Grieveance Committee for 12 months, Volunteer for NSS unit of SVKM IOT. Represented institute at Inter-Zonal Basketball Championship in DBATU Intra-University Tournament. College Representative at eYatra, IIT Bombay's Robotics Symposium.

Admission

The reason I choose this college over others is the reputation the college earned in very few years. As I am from 2024 batch which only the 4th passing out batch of the college. In this small span of time the college had taken the standards of quality education and infrastructure for students.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is around 1 : 20. Faculty strength is good enough. Also majority of faculties are young, friendly and supportive with appropriate experience and strong teaching and technical experties, which makes it better favourable conditions for students to interact freely and efficiently with Faculty. College is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere (Raigad, MH) Course Structure is as per the AICTE and University guidelines. Exam system : Internal Assessments : (Total = 40 marks) Class Assessment 1 : 20 marks (Converted : 5) Unit Test/Open ended assignment 1 : 20 marks (Converted : 5) Mid Semester Exam : 20 marks (Converted 20) Class Assessment 2 : 20 marks (Converted : 5) Open ended assessment 2 : 20 marks (Converted : 5) Total : 5 + 5 + 20 + 5 + 5 = 40 (Converted : 20) Practicals : Total converted to 20 marks University Examination : (Total = 60 marks) Final Results : 60 + 20 + 20 = 100 marks (Each Subject)

Night Life

5

I was a Day Scholar Student, since didn't experienced much of Nightlife, but as per the experiences of my batchmates who were admitted to Hostels, they enjoyed the life, had delicious meals, and all the amenities like sports, gym and cafeteria were available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
