Kongu Enginnering College - 2025 batch Experience

The course cirriculam is good and they are constantly upgrading the cirriculam as per the industry needs and they are doing quite a good job and the one we learned in 5 sem will be in 3 sem for the juniors

Our batch i think the total students is about 1.2k and upto 700 are placed starting from the 5 semester itself company will start to come the highest package was 12LPA and mnimum 3LPA and you can also search jobs yourself also

Basically the college fees will increase batch to batch when I joined the college and hostel fees and I am a first graduate student for a year it cost 1.5L now for the 2023 batch it costs 2L and it will be the same for the entire course for that particular batch. College provides scholarship also basically what the government offers like BC/MBC from state government and all the Central Government scholarship but you need not to be in Management Quoto and it also provides additional funds of top 5% in a department worth around 25K

Basically I am not into these kind of activites but for a particular academic year they will be conducting 2 major cultual events and the clubs are quite free they can do whatever they want and as for department culturals it will be in the hands of the secretary, hod and coordinators

The room is quite good you will be having a cot, chair, cupboard and a reading table and the room comes with 1/2 person room with 1 light and fan and for 3/4 person 2 light and two fan. but the meal is not very good

I got into the college by TNEA and it is my 21 choice the 3 collede i choosed i had also choosen ssn in chennai and bannar amman and i got this college which interms of fees and infrastructure is good compared to that college

Since our department is new and we are the first batch the faculties are less but now they are more and you will be having a mentor assigned to you be friendly with them they will help you in a lot of situtations and as for exams you will be having 3 internal exams called CAT and you need to atleast pass in 2 exams or equilant to 50 by adding and 1 semester exam and the exams are quite easy

The college is quite safe to roam around but the hostel students need to enter into the gate befor 7:30PM and you can roam around inside the gate but not outside and it also provides gym in hostel and it good
