Likes
- The thing I liked in my college is the attendance system because they are taking the attendance period wise so there is no chances of class bunk it will help each and every one to attend the class regularly by these they will able to learn concepts
- The college has the food court and it is very useful for us to have lunchs and snacks.Then the amenity center for the stationary products and the xerox shops helps us to access those facilities whenever we want
- The dress code here is very strict for all student from first year to the final year.The boys must use full hand short with no fold in sleeves ,only cotton pants and the formal shoes likewise for the girls want to wear shawls and chutithar
Dislikes
- The classes taken by the teacher no so good they focusing mainly on the concepts and the theories.They follow those pattern until the three years of our college.These results only theoretical knowledge not the practical one.
- The placement here is very low when we compared to other colleges nearly 1500 to 1800 students are studying here per year but the placements here is very less they should not call up the bulk recruiters so the placement count is very low.
- The placement training is started only in the sixth semester during that semester itself the placement starts but the training in that period is not enough for the students to get placed in the company.So high training period is mandatory.
Course Curriculum Overview
When it comes to the curriculum I am an AI student so me had the major subjects related to the AIML I lost out the subject of my core that I have learned Machine learning Deep learning Natural language processing Transfer learning Big data analytics Data visualization The above mentioned are the major subjects that I had learnt Machine learning is the one which resulted in classification and regression Deep learning is merely used for image,audio,video dataa Natural language processing is used for the text to get the more perfect nature of the text data to process Data visualization is used for the visualization of the data using different kind of graphs Big data analytics is used for the organisation and usage of the data that is large in number When it comes to exam timings we have three cat exams and semester exam Cat exams time for each subject is one and half hours where as the semester examination time is three hours
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual fee : 100000 Total fee : 400000 Scholarship : BC : Annual : 8500 Total scholarship: 34000 The annual fee is 100000 and for me I am a first graduate so there is an reduction in the fee amount of 25000 yearly . So at last the fee for me in total is 300000 and the 100000 is the scholarship for the first graduate of the family
Campus Life
When it comes to my college campus life the college timings are 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM.The infrastructure here is that first years all students are in same block for collaboration among us.Later first year next three years we spent in our respective departments.Each department is separate with the blocks.The cultural and the fest events are the Enthusia and the swaram.The Enthusia is a event they call special chief guests and for the swaram they invite 7-10 guests swaram they conducted for the deaf people and enthusia event for fun purpose and the annual day and the sports day.Library we can access books and journals whenever we needed but submit it before the deadline and if time exceeds we want to pay the fine.sports only played but sports club members.There are social groups and student portals .The groups are ther we join them by our wish and all the students must use the same portal.
Admission
Basically I did not apply for any college in specific i applied through TNEA TamilNadu Engineering Application.I applied for merely some 10 engineering courses through counselling.By that initially I get EEE course in the KEC college and by the method of the upward movement in counselling I get the course of AIML in the same college kEC. The admission process here is we want to get the allocated college sheet and some of the mark sheets and certificates they ask.I bring that and went to the college and they ask me to fill the application I filled that and paid the first year fees This is the admission process.
Faculty
The ratio of the student and the faculty here is basically of 2:7 When it comes to my favourite teacher that is Logeshwaran sir he takes the subjects for me of data visualization,big data analtics and some more subjects and he also teaches the subjects with the practical implementation.so it is very useful for the students to know about the subject. Then he is very clear in explanation of the subjects and the topics The most disliked teacher in department is Neelmegan he is a utter waste staff he is always lazy and the one who shows more attitude before girls and he is not that much good in teaching and he is very poor in mannerisms.
Night Life
The night life here is very simple as of now they have the strict timings in the college when it comes to the night.All should be in the campus before 7:00PM.Late means they are not allowed in the campus and want to face severe problems .The night the dinner is available in the timing between 7:00 PM to 8:30PM.There is an hour of study in the night all the students should monitored by the care taker.They are allowed to roam inside the campus and not out off the campus.They will play any time apart fromyhe study time and they night time is very good and happy in the campus.
