The college has been good in academics as well as in the other cocurricular and extracurricular activities which makes it a overall the best college in the Hooghly area.

Course Curriculum Overview

BA in Bengali is a 3 years degree program focusing mainly on the Bengali language and arts and culture related to Bengal. College also provides BA in maths, geography, education, political science, Sanskrit and many more streams.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

You must pass the minimum hs for the course. Form fillup the required H.S. Result Birth Certificate, and Xerox of some urgent documents. We paid the course fee in 1560. We were given 5 days to fill up the application form. Then we had to go to college on a specific date for document verification. After the application was completed, we were given an id card from the college on a specific date. Thus our admission was complete....Read More
