The one of the best college of Dehradun 'SGRR PG College Dehradun'.

I felt my decision was correct to choose this college as faculty is very nice to students and disciplined for studies and bright future of their students. But according to me the education faculty should also focus on practical because only theory can't give best education. Physics faculty is very disciplined in theory and practical classes. But chemistry faculty should have to be more serious for practical study. The frequency and timing of semester examinations is 4-6 months. After 4-6 months it is the time where your final examinations will started. The examinations are no so hard. Exams are easy to clear because all questions in the examinations are from syllabus. But students also have to prepared in practicals also. It will help to maintain there CGPA.

Many companies approach the college for bright students for internship. Which provides lots of opportunities to students according to their streams and major subjects. Currently I couldn't remember the company name but they were giving atipent around 10K -15k.

The annual fee structure is different for Science students and Arts students. The approx year-wise fee of science students is around 2500 INR and on other side the year-wise fee of Arts students is approx 2370 INR. The examination fee is nearly 750 INR per semester. The college course is easily affordable with lots of facilities and safe environment.

There are many festivals which are held in college. There is a seminar hall also and a huge playground where the festivals are organised as freshers or farewell party and many occasions like Holi, Diwali,Republic Day, Independence day, as when any celebrity come to college . There are many sports tournament which are organised by college and many quiz competitions to motivate students.

I also applied for DBS College Dehradun. But later I confirmed SGRR PG College Dehradun. As I found good reviews of this college more than DBS and this was nearly 3 Km away from my home. No I was also selected for DBS College Dehradun but it was very far from my home. The admission process was very easy during 2021 when I got admission in this college. The admission procedure go through the merit list based on the marks of 12th class. The minimum cut-off for all categories were slightly different. For UR and OBC it was approx 75% for SC/ ST it was approx 72-75%. Qualified candidates can easily get admission But now the admission procedure go through and entrance exam which is conducted by NTA. Candidates who qualify the exam and clear the minimum cut-off can get admission.

There are 50 + teachers available to take classes and the strength of the college is nearly 2000+. All the departments and HOD are very friendly and approachable. All the faculty is always presented for their students to help them , to encourage them, to motivate them to achieve their goals. And they give us more not only I'm case of study but the way to achieve our goals.But I mostly like Physics department. MR Manoj Baloni is the Head of the Department of Physics department. I slightly don't like Chemistry faculty due to disturbance in chemistry practical lab. There are 2 type of exams Internal exams and External exams. Internal exams which are conducted by the college faculty including practicals which are easy to clear. And External exams are conducted by HNBGU including practicals. Which are easy to moderate to clear but they are not so hard. But some students fail to clear the examination due to some reasons.

Yes, there is a gym inside the college campus for students. This gym is available for premium students 8.00 am onwards with extraordinary equipments.There is a badminton hall attached with gym. College have a separate library campus where many students visit to study and read books. There is a huge sitting arrangements for students with silence and peaceful environment to concentrate in studies. Library has more than 2000 books except academics books. There is also e-book facilities and free wi-fi facilities are available for students. Library is open from 10:00 am to 4:00pm. There is women hostel inside college campus with security guards. Outside college there are many restaurants and fast food corners which attracts everyone. The area is very safe at night nearby the college.
