Likes
- The events conducted in colleges were solely managed by the students with some guidance of faculty which became very fun activity to do with friends and learn to handle different situations. these events increased the interaction among students.
- The college focused on sports a lot and is a good institute to be with if you are a sports enthusiast as it provides you ample of opportunities to be in college team for multiple sports and represent your college.
- The college also have NCC which selects cadets on merit basis by testing their physical and mental fitness and give them a glimpse of military life, it improves the overall lookout of the student and fills him with great confidence.
Dislikes
- The campus amd timings of the affiliated colleges is comparatively small from main university
- the class size is very large which makes it a little difficult.
- The management lacks a bit of discipline.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well planned for students to understand the subject with ease but the assignments provided does not add to any skill,. the faculty needs to improve and move towards practical methods for better understanding
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees structure of VNSGU for Bachelor of commerce is 45k for 3 years Also,the fee structure of other courses in VNSGU including: M.com which sums upto arround 20k,BBA amounts to 50k. similarly,the fees for B.sc accounts for 50k, etc. VNSGU also provide scholarships: PG merit scholarship Merit-cum-means scholarship Nstionsl merit scholarship PG Indira Gandhi scholarship for single girlchild,etc There are also many affiliated colleges with varied fees structures and the college justifies its fees by providing many amenities and cinducting heartwarming events for fun and learning of students.
Campus Life
the overall experience have been great as i made many friends and developed my personality in this college which made a best out of me. the college gave me several opportunities to perform in many events.
Admission
I chose this college because it provided me NCC and sports facilities in which i have always been keen to take part in. I didn't applied for any other college as i was interested in activities and events of the college.
Faculty
I was in AVVEMC college which was affiliated to VNSGU, the college faculty maintained very good relations with student, the faculty cares about the students amd regularly interact with them in person for any difficulty the student might be facing weather related to accademics or others. The english communication faculty Ms. Krishna mam would motivate students to take part in speaking activities like debates and extempore to help him overcome the stage fears, Mr. Pujan Kapadia who is also a CA has aunique teaching method through which he connects to students and help them understand easily
Night Life
The cafeteria is not very good but the college had its own basketball court and a volleyball court giving students a very good experience of sports and other curriculars. the college also provided all the amenities required for the college life. there are many places around the college like the dumas beach which was very near to the college.
