Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason to choose this course is definitely got very influenced after getting to know the curriculum of the college it's just made my decision more clear that i have to get this course the amount of knowledge and practical experience it gaves is phenomenal The practical exams prepares you for many real life situations like we gotta have to do our all assignment and have to carry them with us carefully even a little mistake can distroy your markings More machinaries can be installed Exams are not that difficult it generally comes from what the faculty tought us and frequency is of around 1 month

Internships Opportunities

5

Jewelry companies such as madhia jaipur , silver line and agza many more if you are talented they hire you without completion of your degree and pays you a decent amount Projects such as creating a new designs through sketches and 3d designs depends on outcomes As a 1st semester student i don't know much about the internship process

Placement Experience

4

Campus placements starts from 7th semester Many known brands and companies visited the college including amazon nyka snitch etc... Highest package was of 5200000 and average package is of 600000 No such idea about percentage of students getting placements Probably opening my own jewelry brand in the world market

Fees and Financial Aid

My annual fees of two semesters is of around 125000 Which is paid in two parts in every 6 months . 1st semester fees is 72500 and 2nd semester fees which i paid is 52500 which does not include any hostel and convence Fee its just tution fee .My batchmates pay more than this it's maybe around 200000 which includes their hostel or convence fee

Campus Life

5

Freshers , rythem and other small events are always going on in college rythem is the biggest fest which happens in February A messive range of books are available from cultural to science and from cooking to engineering each and every book is available Smart boards and projectors Sport events are the major part of college Many clubs are there including singing and dancing, hiphop ,cultural, social, photography groups and many more

Admission

Yes i have applied for iigj and RU but i got this this and i am very greatful that i got admission in jecrc . I am getting great experience of campus and college life as well and this is the reason i choose to be here No i didn't get any rejection Admission process is very simple they even help you with brain tests with computers wich helps to get your interest and telent in perticular subject after that i got through PI and then they informed me about the fee structure and it all went super smooth and easy

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is pretty good in jewellery 1st sem we got 2 teachers for 10 students and they are super generous and good very easily approachable Swasti Ma'am she is our jewelry design teacher she so nice and approachable and obviously super talented and humble Praveen bala ma'am didn't liked her very much nothing personal but she always keeps an unapproachable and arrogant aura around herself There are 4 exams in one semester 3 are in-semesters from those 2 are compulsory to give and 1 you can and leave and 1 end term which decides you result

Interview Experience

4

As a design student i got to show my skills example my sketches and designs which i made earlier to the faculty They took a brain test which help me to made the decision for taking this subject more easily Didn't prepare that much for it i had my older paintings with me and those worked well.

Night Life

5

The nighlife is safe and very happening gym , cafes and public libraries are open till 10 pm Hostel timing is 8:30pm Famous hangout places crystal mall , high street , wtp , gt all are very close to the college

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

So, the students are eligible for placements after the 8th semester, which is after they graduate. As for Fashion Communication (FC), the companies range from news channels like NDTV, to companies like Shopper's Stop, Magazine outlets like Vogue, and Media channels like MTV, almost every sub field requires FC students, given the vast area of our studies. You can get the proper details on Official NIFT FC website, since these are just the details from the top of my head. Also, I have to admit I'm not very well informed about the placement situations or the statistical numbers, but as far as I have heard from the seniors, almost every graduate leaves with a job, or chooses to get into freelancing. The highest package received was by one of my seniors, which is 24lpa, and the average is approx 15lpa. As for my plans after getting my degree, I'm still exploring, since I'm in sem 4, and only halfway thru my degree. I'm leaning towards either Fashion Journalism, Styling, PR and Brand Management or Creative Direction, but I'm still keeping my options open.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. The white crow is one of the best company who takes students. Highest package is 30000-40000 and the lowest package is 15000-20000. 80% of students get placements. I want to further pursue my higher studies in masters in fashion designing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum would prepare you 60% for the real world and real problems that are faced in actual fields because the basic things are taught once you go do a job the problems are quite different then what we think. We aren't taught what or do if the cutting team cut the pattern in the wrong orientation and now the flowers are facing down.
