All the branches are did well in previous academic years but some branches like cse,IT these are doing very good in past years The practical knowledge is got here to take one step forward in sence of application other curriculum like sports fest etc these needs more improvement The exam difficulties are good but not that hard to score it have total 16 semesters invluding a mid sem exam between a semester exam

Placement Experience

3

Placement is good but not that good as the lowest packagr is 300000 per year and the average package is 600000. The percentage of placed students are more from IT sector. The students from CSE branch are placed 100 percent

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently i am persuing my bachelor's of technology degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Veer surendra sai university of technology burla sambalpur, odisha. The fee structure of our college tuition is 85 thousands per year as i am a self sustaining course student, but who has the regular course have to pay 41000 per year, and the hostel fees is 48000 per year My all fees like lab fees, development fees are included in that 85000fees structure, there are also some scholarship, but as a general cast student i couldn't get any scholarship,i also opted for the hostel, facilities but i couldn't get any hostel allotment facility in my first round of selection, but when i opted hostel for 2nd round i got a hostel but i didn't join the hostel because of my financial problem,as i belongs to a middle class family i had not that financial support to stay in hostel. My batchmates are also above 95percent are staying in hostel There is also a scholarship for medhabi odisha scholarship program, but i couldn't get that for my cast reason If i talk about our fees increasing or not i think it is increasing per every 2 to 3 years as per my knowledge(might be wrong).but this year we gave 85000per year for ssc(self sustaining course) students and 41000 tuition fees for the regular course students. But the hostel fees for all students are same.which is 48000 per year.if any student opted for histel facilities the he or she have to pay for 133000 fees which includes our registration fees of 10000 for seat locking after counselling. The fees structure is a little big amount for a middle class student but it's not that big actually Some students are also got some cast scholarship, and state scholarship like medhabi state scholarship, that's why they may got some discount from their side of fees payment(might be) According to my knowledge about scholarship, they may got 10000 rupees per year for 4 years. And another scholarship also valid for sc/st category students which i dont know

Campus Life

3

Campus life is very good here as the campus is big And the teachers are also supporting nature and the college is in the lap of hirakud bridge. Market place is beside of our college campus so we got a very charming campus life

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel buildings are very good.there are 11 hostels for both boys and girls.7 hostels are for boys and 4 hostels are for girls.hostel food is good as per the students required.4 times meals and tiffin are given

Admission

I choose this college rather i opted many more colleges like OUTR Bhubaneswar The cause is 1.reputation,2.my jee performance This college accept the jee mains rank the opening rank is 120000and the closing rank is 600000 (as per my knowledge) Admission process is ojee councelling The college also accept ojee score

Faculty

3

The college have 1:15 teacher student ratio. This is very good as a academic student. There are so many branches like CSE,EEE,EE,Production,ECE,chemical, mechanical civil, and mtech is also available, march is also available

Night Life

2

The nightlife of vssut is very quiet and good nature vibe is also supported to us The closing gate of our college is 5pm and the opening time is 9 pm.hostel gate closes at 6 pm for every 1st year students

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
