Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was very precise covering al important topics and syllabus consisted of majority of topic regarding each subject in our field. Including various opportunities for career growth allowing student to take part in activities other than Curriculum.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a cv raman laboratory which conduct various research projects allowing students to do internships there. Also the College department itself has many research scholars doing there phd who allows interns to help in there work.

Placement Experience

Very few biotechnology companies came for placement. Most companies were it based companies . Training was provided for placement before the interviews. Majority engineering students got placements .

Fees and Financial Aid

10000 rs registration fees during admission 100000 rs per year fees 4000rs examination fees for each semester And final semester examination fees were 6000 rs Alumni fees 1000 rs No other charges other than this

Campus Life

Campus experience was ok not bad . There were student council and department group organizing various fests every now and then. Apart from this college authorities kept various extra curriculum activities.

Admission

Didn't apply for examination which closed options for most colleges. Applied for very few colleges including colleges from pune, but opted for srm as college was reputed in terms of biotechnology so i selected it.

Faculty

In each semester there were total 4 exams Apart from practical examination 3 exams included class test 1 and 2 and 1 model exam from our department And one exam final from university which was the semester exam

Night Life

Not very active. College use to get closed at around 9pm daily. College hostel didn't allow students to leave after 8 mostly. Nightlife outside College was also simple as the area was mainly village and under developed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes,Laboratory works and laboratory experiments and ambiance that are influenced decision to choose this course.My curriculum helps a lot because i learnt future technologies that are prepares me for real world applications and the i learnt future applications and ? helps me to do a job.Further studies have no idea,then laboratory techniques and experiments that are improve my knowledge in my course curriculum and the smart class teaching was more understandable that was improve my course. No difficulty ,beause i like exams to write becauseb only in my exams i test my knowledge what i learnt so no more difficulties and exam timing was so comfortable so no more difficulties.

The placements are good. The opportunites are very high. There are so many seminar halls to discuss about the placements and group discussion. 3rd and 5th year students are available for internships. Placement Experience:

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.

Remarks:

The experience of every student dreamt of or atleast for me. The campus life was good and all the other stuffs were also good but in my last days the during thesis submission the reaction of our project guide was unbearable, that's the one thing I wanted to forget.

My JEE and other exams didn't go well. Out of all the options that I had remaining, SRM was offering me the best possibility that if I worked hard enough, I can land a job worth the effort and money. People are accepted into SRM via the SRMJEE exam based on their results i.e. their ranks. Courses are restricted to certain ranks i.e. beyond a certain rank you wont be able to choose that particular course. The exams are not too difficult. Why SRM is better than other collages.
